Coast appliances is great at the sale and they’re the best in the area at treating you like a customer when you’re in the store. Chris in particular was helpful.I’ve now had my Fisher Paykel range for 2.5 years and have had issues with it since day one. It’s had a persistent gas leak. While “under warranty” they “fixed” it twice. The 3rd time is appeared out of warrant and while Chris was looking into it, they came back to tell us it was no longer in warranty.Chris, and allegedly, the service manager agreed it should be fixed as though it was a warranty issue because of its persistence. Not to mention a persistent gas leak is a massive safety issue. Coast agreed to pay for the technician - Priority appliances was sent, and we were charged for it on the spot by the technician. After, Coast then had their service team send an email to say “this wasn’t a gas leak”. The tech from Priority appliances called us to confirm he found the leak and would fix it, while checking for other leaks.When the email came, Chris said he would email the service team to correct this so we had it in writing that the problem persisted. He’s not done that, and he still hasn’t figured out how to reimburse us for the technician visit.I think they sell well, and come off as polite but Chris is turning into a misleading sales person after we bought $10k worth of appliances from him.I’d never return to this location or spend money with them again. They have 4/10 rating with the better business bureau. Sadly though this is one of the better options in the area. So just be prepared to keep spending with them.

It's rare that i have some across the lack of customer concern that I experience by management at Coast NS. I purchased two whirlpool fridges three years ago and had 12 service calls between them, with months out of service, and finally one of them died and was unrepairable (according to whirlpool). Througout the process I attempted to ask Coast to help me escalate to the manufacturer - and help me negotiate a refund - even asking to purchase something that at least worked... All i got was a series of 'not my problem' and take it up with whirlpool. Definitely a lack of concern for what was clearly a very poor product. Absolutely will not do business here again - after 15years of not shopping anywhere else.

My fridge had died on the weekend so I had been looking on-line for a new one that would fit the space. On Monday I phoned Coast Appliances in North Van and spoke to Adriana with a couple of questions and I'm so happy I did!She was able to recommend one and arranged to have it delivered on Wednesday. She checked in a few times to make sure everything was on going smoothly. I can't recommend her any more highly!

I visited 2 other major appliance retailers before ending up at Coast. At one, I was essentially ignored. At the other, the salesperson tried to upsell me on each of the appliances I needed.The experience was completely different at Coast! Adriana took the time to understand my needs, and suggested options which actually ended up saving me money. Lots of places claim to put the customer first, Adriana and the team at Coast actually do it!

We had a fantastic experience today at the Coast Appliances in North Vancouver. Chris and Stuart were so helpful and courteous and helped us to find a new dishwasher in our price range. We were in and out of the store within 30 minutes and will be having our dishwasher delivered two days from our purchase. We'll definitely be coming back when it's time to buy another new appliance.

We are very grateful for the wonderful fast, efficient, knowledgable and friendly service from Megan! Our old dishwasher broke down on a Saturday - after some quick research we decided our best bet was Coast Appliances in North Vancouver. We arrived at 5:00 pm and closing time was at 5:30. With Megan's help we were able to make an informed choice and all of the arrangements for our new dishwasher before closing.The dishwasher that we wanted was not in stock at the store but available at the warehouse in Burnaby. Megan offered delivery but it would take one day longer than picking it up ourselves, and since I hate hand-washing dishes I decided to pick up in Burnaby. If I had to do it again I would accept the offer for delivery to home or to the North Vancouver store as pickup from the warehouse is a little awkward - a busy area with a lot of transport trucks.We couldn't be happier with our new Bosch dishwasher, and thanks again to Megan for helping to make this happen so quickly! We have other aging appliances and will go to Coast North Vancouver for our future needs.

Adriana Guerrero at Coast was extremely helpful throughout our experience with Coast from the selection of new range and dishwasher, organizing delivery, and follow up after delivery.Delivery was well organized with a call the day before and another call when the truck was on the way. The Coast app allowed us to see the truck as it made its way to us.We appreciate the customer service we received throughout.

We spent over $700 to purchase the extended warranty on our major appliances, as advised by Coast. A year and a half later, our KitchenAid fridge and freezer have kicked the bucket. We've been told by the extended warranty company that they will send a technician out to assess the problem two and a half weeks from now. How do you feed a family of four with no fridge or freezer for that period of time? We've raised this concern with management at Coast and have yet to hear back from them.Over and above that, when we first bought our appliances a year and a half ago, Coast sold us the wrong appliances that did not properly fit into the kitchen island, specifically after we requested confirmation from them that they would. They assured us they would fit perfectly. When we had to return the downdraft fan to replace it with one that did fit, Coast would only refund us 70% of the price we purchased it for.So extremely disappointing and frustrating.

I had a great purchasing experience thanks to the advice of Stuart and Chris… looking forward to buying more appliances there
