Very poor service, in fact no service. I went into Sally's on Lougheed in Coquitlam looking for purple or pink hair dye. The woman behind the counter wouldn't look up and the other one was taking stock. Neither offered assistance or even spoke to me. There was only one other person in the store. I asked the stock taker a question that she answered briefly but didn't offer any help. After about 10 minutes of looking around I approached the stock taker to tell her no one was offering to help me. She went on and on about how she had helped me and how they don't want to approach customers too often. No apology or attempt to diffuse the situation. Just yap, yap yap repeating the same. I'm embarrassed that I was so rude to her but she needed a wakeup.

very strange feeling in a store. Girls are just walking around and behind and have no answer at any question about the products.

Went there after a box dye gone wrong, I got told all the options I had as I didn’t want to bleach my hair. Got explained everything with detail and if the product is not okay for me I can even go back and exchange it, i think it’s awesome!

Staff was very friendly and greeted me right away. Helpful and I found what I needed. Huge selection of hair colors, hair accessories, tools, combs ect. Great store

Took time today to make the trek over. They didn't have the brand I wanted. I talked to staff about wanting leave-in conditioner. Staff member sold me on a brand and type she said she personally uses. I saw it had a bottle shape that could be a spray or a gel pump and said I wasn't happy with the spray kind of conditioner, that I wanted something different. She said this kind was great. I get it home and lo and behold: it is a spray nozzle. Thin spray of conditioner, no coverage, feels like it does nothing.I feel kind of cheated. Either 1) the sales associate lied about using the product herself and didn't know it was a spray nozzle or 2) she wasn't actually listening to me/didn't care. Both are annoying. Sure I can apparently return it for a refund but the store is so far away I'm probably not going to make the effort. Disappointing store.

I'm a regular customer at this location. Just today I had purchased some items and unfortunately, I had absentmindedly left them at the bus stop nearby. When I realized, I headed straight back. I found the bag, but unfortunately, some pathetic person stole all my items, including the receipt. I went back into the store, visibly upset and the staff were very empathetic towards the situation. There wasn't much they could do, however it was suggested to call customer service for a coupon - they're pretty good about things like that. While on the phone waiting to speak to someone, one of the staff went ahead and repurchased 3 out of the 4 items I had just gotten, as a way to pay it forward. THANK YOU. It was incredibly sweet and thoughtful. I'm on a budget, which is why I need to go to Sally's to do my own hair. I guess the person who stole from me didn't think of that. Staff also took down my information in case the person tried return my items, they could get in touch with me. Customer service gave me a coupon as well when I explained the situation. Thank you to the staff for being kind and helpful, you are awesome!!

Prices are on the high side, but under what your drugstore charges! These locations always have helpful staff, knowledgeable about all their products, willing to help DIYers do it right! I mainly shop nail products and hair dye, only the first of which I am really knowledgeable about, and the staff are just angels! There's an online store, with free in store pickup. If you want a particular product, it's best to phone the store to make sure they have stock. This is just a joy to browse through, too!

This Location is OK.It’s certainly not my go-to, but if I need something in a pinch and I can’t get it at another store I will come in here.Staff isnt the most knowledgable or the most helpful - at least this was my experience when I came in.I basically had to find the products I was looking for myself and they couldn’t answer any of my questions so I just figured it out on my own.The store is kind of out of the way, It’s not the most convenient location.Older building looks like it’s slightly run down and in need of a facelift.I much prefer the one in Richmond.

Why update your holiday hours if you aren't going to follow them?Drive 40 minutes out of my way on my way home on new years eve because they specifically had their Google listing updates to include their holiday hours to close at 6pm. I arrived at 5:02 and it was closed. I'm all for people leaving to celebrate, but I wouldn't have come if they hadn't specifically said they would be open until 6 that day.If you're thinking about driving from Van, I'd say not to bother! Who knows if they'll be open.
