Would not sell me alcohol at 31 years of age with 2 pieces of gov ID.. people that work there are very unfriendly and rude for no reason. I’d advise going to another store if your in the area

Unfortunately, this establishment has gone downhill in the past 5 years from being a customer. Terrible customer service and disgruntled employees. Ask for service, don't bother, they do not wish to help you. Prices listed on the shelves are not honored and whatever the computer system shows during payment on their system they will go with, unless the shelf price is higher. Fraudulent practices. The good news is there is a BC Liquor store in Dollarton, which provides better customer service and will help you if you have any questions.

I have never been so uncomfortable at store, the staff is rude, aggressive, and entitled. Reading review after review about how this place has treats people with racism and disrespect, and then reply after reply about how they "reviewed the footage and nothing described occurred" starts to paint a pretty clear picture. I hope people start filming and reporting these occurrences.

Today, I witnessed an elderly South American woman being blatantly discriminated and mistreated by the staff. She went in with her teenage daughter to help her with payment and to carry the merchandise. They rudely refused to sell to her so she returned with what appeared to be her 40+ year old son. He was kind and asked them to be a little more kinder next time. The man lost it. Began yelling, ripped posters off the wall and said he would call the police. This was obvious racism. I was appalled and will never return!

The worst place I've ever been in my life! I went to buy something and they refuse to serve me even with my ID and said some racist comments. After that they laughed. Pretty pathetic attitude. I do not recommend to go there and by reading other comments, they should be shut down.

I'm a local who usually shops here, but today I encountered a really upsetting situation that prompted me to leave this review. The way the staff treated a customer was unacceptable and clearly discriminatory. I helped her when she left the store in tears.
I've also had very unpleasant experiences with the staff, especially with the manager, Justin. He seems to have some issues, as he often shows a need to exert power over customers, treating them in a hostile manner. It's frustrating that this continues without any accountability.
Given my experiences and the feedback from others, I can't recommend this store. I suggest going to the BC Liquor store just 3 minutes away, where the staff is much friendlier and the prices are better. I won't be returning.

Unfortunately, my experience at this store has been devastating. I’m a local, and we’ve already encountered uncomfortable situations here before, but what happened this time was unacceptable. From the very beginning, the treatment was rude and disrespectful, with a clear display of power and racial discrimination. I tried to return to voice my complaint because, in 2024, we cannot tolerate this kind of behavior. Instead of listening, I was thrown out without the chance to speak. I left the store completely in tears. It’s unacceptable that places like this exist. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

No reason to be demanding a tip at checkout. Your staff does nothing to earn it. Also why so militant about the entry and exit doors?

I’m a regular that shops here once a week to get my craft beers. I have regular conversations with the night staff about the new and upcoming beers. They are so polite and always help me find and recommend new products. I am not sure what these recent review bombings are about. I am Armenian, which is a minority race and have never felt discriminated in this store.

If I could do 0 starts I would. So disrespectful. Refused service to my girlfriend who has arthritis because she had someone else carry stuff for her. Then I came in showed ID and he refused to sell to me because he felt hurt. He acts entailed to the customer very rude and disrespectful
