“I came here for the Cider Fest, but I always love the variety of events that are hosted at The Pipe Shop! It's a great space, plenty of washrooms, and I always learn about new local vendors!”
“I was there for a work event and found the Modern staff to be very friendly and kept up with the topping up the coffee, tea, ice, and cleaning up empty cups and dishes. Beautiful modern looking venue. Very professional, very clean. Great experience!”
“We had our wedding reception at the Rowing Club in August and I would strongly recommend it as a venue! Shout out to Kerri and the staff were who were great. The venue is very accommodating and flexible. The combination of indoor and outdoor space was perfect for a summer wedding. The space itself feels dignified without being pretentious, great for a semi-casual beach vibes wedding such as ours. We had around 125 guests and for that number I would be sure to rent the Trophy room as well. I found it surprisingly affordable.”
“Easy to find. Easy to use and friendly and helpful staff providing all ones rehearsal needs. All a person needs to bring their own personal gear. Rooms are clean and the price is right. We had six people in one room, 6 songs to rehearse and 2 Hours of the rented room..Their professional service guarantees them a new client, me.The pressure of a rehearsal at home vers a pressure free rehearsal at the soundhouse is uncomparable, priceless in time management and rewarding in the final cut. A unexpected jewel of a show and performance. Well done soundhouse”
“Everything is fantastic here but dining room service is where things really shine TBH. Services friendly, dynamic and can carry their own when managing a table with high expectations. With food exceeded my expectation as well. I would definitely recommend this place though of course you need a membership.”
“Underground parking available, but limited. Came here for farmers market. A combination of outside and inside. Limited seating. Facilities are clean and spacious. There's a museum here too.”
“Our event at the Penthouse Event Suite was amazing because of the beautiful views and the stylish space. The staff was really professional and took care of everything we needed, making our time there smooth and special. I really recommend it if you’re looking for a fancy and well-run place for your event.”
“This space is an absolute gem, and I will definitely be using it for any future events in the city. The price is extremely reasonable for what you get, staff are super helpful, and the whole experience is just great! The different rooms and spaces can be used for a variety of events and staff are flexible in the setup. Easy access from Olympic Village and lots of street parking in the evening.”

“240601
Even though the weather is cloudy, the beautiful building, flowers, grass, and trees in the garden come together to make your heart feel cozy.
It's peaceful.
It is suitable for small-scale banquets of around 70 people, such as various banquets and weddings.
The entrance to the concert hall is at the end of the garden.
Even if there is a fence surrounding it, the sound of the instrument passes through the fence and attracts the attention of those passing through the forest.”
“Suite Genius at Mt Pleasant, was our first office location for our new business and it was a great place to work! The staff were great, Emma Rose and Chris looked after us, answered all our questions, and made us feel welcome. The work spaces are great, and with regular "happy hour" events it's a great community feel. And let's not forget the office dogs! We miss those!!
Our business expanded rapidly, so we outgrew our space and have had to move on, but we want to thank Suite Genius for helping us get underway, and we highly recommend them for anyone looking for a collaborative workspace.”

“Gotta dance, gotta dance... Came here for Friday night salsa through Located in a quiet neighborhood @ 24th & Frasier. We parked on the street though there may be a lot. Everyone seemed to be there to have fun. Lessons before the dance party were taught by Sebastian & Yukiko. They really enjoy teaching. They went through merengue, bachata, & salsa lessons in an hour. Dancers represented a variety of age groups. They were casually but nicely dressed. No obvious shady characters. The place was full but not so crowded it was like playing bumper cars. While not familiar with many of the songs played we could dance to them all. We will return.”
“One of my friends had her reception here. Another friend used this venue for both her ceremony on the lower level and her reception upstairs. It is wheelchair accessible and seems to have enough room for a decent size event of any kind. Parking was nearby and the venue easy to find.”
“Perfect place for all badminton lovers!!! I came here many many times, and I really love this place. The staff is friendly and professional. Also, it’s easy to find the parking spot.??”
“Sapperton Hall is a quaint little place. I went there for the Alll Hallows Eve market. The elevators weren't working but there was a path around the side of the building that allowed for wheelchair and stroller access to and from the bottom floor (this was not pointed out but I think that's the fault of the market people not the hall itself). It has a small little stage ideal for youngsters to put on performances.”
“Sound system has been upgraded, our most recent show sounded awesome! Staff are friendly (save for one grumpy attendant who didn't like anyone standing to dance unless we could fit 100% into the front pit area. Understandable in order to keep the view for those in the back, but it was a sold out show and the pit was absolutely full, hah. I know he was just doing his job.).
If only Van could help its down and out souls who subsist in the area; it can make visitors a bit on edge but Rickshaw can't really do anything about that themselves.”
“A fantastic place to host a party, offering a great selection of Western, Indian, and Afghan cuisine. The food here is always amazing. The customer service is top-notch, with staff consistently going above and beyond. There's also plenty of parking, making it convenient for all guests. Highly recommend this venue for any event!”
“I was here tonight for a Persian concert (Arman Garshasbi). They opened the doors pretty soon which was really great because of the rain. The staff was so kind and friendly and the whole area was neat and clean. I had a wonderful night.”
“This venue is amazing!!! The manager is wonderful and always helpful. The food served at our functions was so good, well cooked, and many options. I have had their breakfast and lunch options. Great price as well. I highly recommend this venue for any of your gatherings. Thank you from our project!”
“I had a good time staying in this hotel.
Most importantly, I lost my wireless earbuds. Special thank to Vanessa Galindo who made a great effort to help me and shipped them to me.”
“The Wallace was the perfect venue for our wedding this summer. It may not have been the cheapest but we were so happy to have found a location with views of the city and ocean whilst remaining right in the heart of Lower Lonsdale.
We also saved some money when it came to decor as the venue is so beautiful that it really didn't need much.
We had lots of guests from out of town and so we really wanted somewhere to show off why we love Vancouver/ North Shore so much - and this was the perfect spot for that.
Older guests were glad to have hotels so close, younger guests were glad to have the bars and restaurants of The Shipyards so close.
I believe we were one of the first weddings to use their in house bar as well and again it ended up being more expensive than we originally hoped - but the staff were fantastic and we had a great experience making the menu our own.
