We had six people in one room, 6 songs to rehearse and 2 Hours of the rented room..Their professional service guarantees them a new client, me.The pressure of a rehearsal at home vers a pressure free rehearsal at the soundhouse is uncomparable, priceless in time management and rewarding in the final cut. Also great place to hold an event e.g., held a couple of birthday parties there in the past. Ample parking unless there is a major event, but they usually inform those impacted.”

“I took a further course here and visited the Japanese Cultural Festival at the end of 2023. It was very lively and the food was delicious, but you had to queue!There used to be a Japanese restaurant in the nursing home where you could eat, but it seems to be gone after Covid.”

“Gotta dance, gotta dance... Came here for Friday night salsa through Located in a quiet neighborhood @ 24th & Frasier. We parked on the street though there may be a lot. Everyone seemed to be there to have fun. Lessons before the dance party were taught by Sebastian & Yukiko. They really enjoy teaching. They went through merengue, bachata, & salsa lessons in an hour. Dancers represented a variety of age groups. They were casually but nicely dressed. No obvious shady characters. The place was full but not so crowded it was like playing bumper cars. While not familiar with many of the songs played we could dance to them all. We will return.”

“This is my absolute favorite arts center in all of Vancouver. I've never been so impressed by live performance before. The crowd is a niche of extremely artistic individuals working alongside one another to bring the most unique, obscure and pleasing art to the stage and walls. Seeing like-minded individuals of all ages coming together gave me more hope in the arts community than anything else. I hope Vivo Media Arts never goes away.”

“The line up can be long at peak times, even extending beyond the door of the cafeteria. Food offerings are very reasonably priced and affordable. Food is not bad. Staff are helpful, but not out of their way friendly. Very crowded during lunch with no tables left, however, there is seating outdoors. Food is prepared within 5-15 minutes, depending on item and time. Disposable wooden cutlery is available, self-serve. There is a coffee machine, but it is sometimes out of service.Wheelchair accessibility: 100% wheelchair accessible”

“Sapperton Hall is a quaint little place. I went there for the Alll Hallows Eve market. The elevators weren't working but there was a path around the side of the building that allowed for wheelchair and stroller access to and from the bottom floor (this was not pointed out but I think that's the fault of the market people not the hall itself). It has a small little stage ideal for youngsters to put on performances.”

“Was here today for the pre-Ramadan Arab Event. The facility has a chic looking interior. It has a large hall with some upscale seating. Free Parking is a little limited compared to the size but you can find paid parking lots nearby. I would visit again if I want to host or attend an event.”

“Very clean and higher end hotel. Almost felt like a 5 star. King bed room was very spacious. Bathroom was fairly big as well. Stove, sink and fridge were a plus. In a very convenient location in Metro Town. The free breakfast was great. A+”

“I had my wedding here in December and I must say, amazing experience. Arun is very accommodating and understanding. I had a list of requests for day of and he ensured everything was followed to the T by his team. I was able to set up multiple appointments to finalize decor and other logistics. The food was phenomenal, our guests loved it. I would definitely recommend choosing Royal Palace as your venue.”

“Two venues under one roof. To the side of the main entrance is a door to the upper lounge where Laff Lines comedy club lives. Great cabaret space. Decent size, could probably seat about 120-150. Main stage and house is smaller than traditional stages but great for intimate performances and really connecting with an audience. Great size stage for bands and smaller theatre companies. Plenty of paid street and parkade parking and lots of restaurants and pubs within walking distance.”
