“We had another fantastic experience hosting our Parking Parvaneh Bazaar at The Pipe Shop!
On behalf of VancoBiz Consulting Agency Inc., I would like to sincerely thank Jeane, Brian, and the entire Pipe Shop team for their outstanding support, professionalism, and cooperation throughout the event.
With their support, we were able to welcome more than 7,000 visitors in a single day, setting a new attendance record for our Parking Parvaneh Bazaar. Seeing thousands of people enjoying the market, supporting local businesses, and creating such an incredible atmosphere was truly rewarding for our entire team.
The Pipe Shop has been a wonderful venue for bringing our community together, and the professionalism and friendliness of their team make organizing a large-scale event much easier.
We’re very proud to see how much the community has embraced Parking Parvaneh Bazaar and how it continues to grow with every edition.

“Our favourite place to rehearse. The staff is very helpful and we have enough room for our 9 person band to spread out. Sometimes, the equipment can be a little wonky (the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) but they are quick to give us help.”
“This place is a castle, where you get to dress up like a princess, look at pictures of our queens and kings, all while having top level modern service, food and drinks. The bathroom was beautifully catered with a thoughtful female care package with nail glue, hair spray, bobby pins, etc. Idk about the mens' bathroom but all in all, I felt like I was at a fairytale ball celebrating my bro's wedding.”
“We came for the ‘beautifully broken’ exhibit as the last stop on our artsy tour of the day.
It didn’t disappoint. The building itself feels calm and light and seems to be a really well utilized community space. There was a badminton match happening and a Japanese bookstore and tea room upstairs and signs for a Pokémon tournament.
The exhibit was excruciatingly beautiful and displayed in a way that allowed you to view most pieces from several angles. There were personal, historical, and some political thoughts woven like the gold within the pieces.
I am very grateful that I was lucky enough to get to see it.”
“Suite Genius at Mt Pleasant, was our first office location for our new business and it was a great place to work! The staff were great, Emma Rose and Chris looked after us, answered all our questions, and made us feel welcome. The work spaces are great, and with regular "happy hour" events it's a great community feel. And let's not forget the office dogs! We miss those!!
Our business expanded rapidly, so we outgrew our space and have had to move on, but we want to thank Suite Genius for helping us get underway, and we highly recommend them for anyone looking for a collaborative workspace.”
“We had our wedding reception at the Rowing Club in August and I would strongly recommend it as a venue! Shout out to Kerri and the staff were who were great. The venue is very accommodating and flexible. The combination of indoor and outdoor space was perfect for a summer wedding. The space itself feels dignified without being pretentious, great for a semi-casual beach vibes wedding such as ours. We had around 125 guests and for that number I would be sure to rent the Trophy room as well. I found it surprisingly affordable.”

“This is my absolute favorite arts center in all of Vancouver. I've never been so impressed by live performance before. The crowd is a niche of extremely artistic individuals working alongside one another to bring the most unique, obscure and pleasing art to the stage and walls. Seeing like-minded individuals of all ages coming together gave me more hope in the arts community than anything else. I hope Vivo Media Arts never goes away.”

Even though the weather is cloudy, the beautiful building, flowers, grass, and trees in the garden come together to make your heart feel cozy.
It's peaceful.
It is suitable for small-scale banquets of around 70 people, such as various banquets and weddings.
The entrance to the concert hall is at the end of the garden.
Even if there is a fence surrounding it, the sound of the instrument passes through the fence and attracts the attention of those passing through the forest.”

“I come here for wrestling shows, they host the best shows! The seating is as comfortable as folding chairs can be, there is room to move around, the AC works great, and the beer is flowing! My only complaint would be the lack of parking, it's always tricky to find somewhere to park.”
“The Shadbolt Centre is a thoughtfully designed cultural venue that favors functionality, architecturally it leans toward simplicity rather than spectacle. The building is simple but well organized, with rooms, studios, and a small theatre that feels intimate rather than limited.
I attended an adaptation of The Barber of Seville by Rossini. The staging was modest, but the scale of the theatre works in its favor: sightlines are good from almost anywhere, and the intimacy of the space allows the performers and music to carry the experience. The result was a pleasantly surprising production.
This centre feels less like a grand arts institution and more like a genuine cultural hub for the community. I’ll certainly keep an eye on their program to return in the near future.”

“One of my friends had her reception here. Another friend used this venue for both her ceremony on the lower level and her reception upstairs. It is wheelchair accessible and seems to have enough room for a decent size event of any kind. Parking was nearby and the venue easy to find.”
“Pretty good venue for smaller audiences. It is in a sketchy area of town so there is a need to be vigilant. I've never had issues with the area or the venue.”

“We rented the Anza Club for our wedding reception on New Year's Eve, and it was the perfect place! Nahanni, the GM, was super helpful, and the bartenders on the night of the event were awesome. We thought it was great value for venue buyout, and everyone was super easygoing. Definitely consider the Anza Club for your next event!”

“Gotta dance, gotta dance... Came here for Friday night salsa through Located in a quiet neighborhood @ 24th & Frasier. We parked on the street though there may be a lot. Everyone seemed to be there to have fun. Lessons before the dance party were taught by Sebastian & Yukiko. They really enjoy teaching. They went through merengue, bachata, & salsa lessons in an hour. Dancers represented a variety of age groups. They were casually but nicely dressed. No obvious shady characters. The place was full but not so crowded it was like playing bumper cars. While not familiar with many of the songs played we could dance to them all. We will return.”

“This will be the first less than average review we gave to a hotel of Marriott -group after being Marriott Bonvoy member for over 20+ years, due to the on-your-face condescending conduct of their evening manager, during and after we reported a security concern regarding an unknown person/staff, non-English speaking knocking on our door two days in a row - during our 7-days stay (2026September07-13) at the Element Metrotown Vancouver/Burnaby BC. Although the Front Office Manager and other staff had apologized on behalf of her (the evening manager) unprofessional conduct, this review still had to be written for the public to discourage similar conduct of that said individual, just in case Element Metrotown could not re-train or re-educate her on how to respect their guests according to what is considered a normal standard of Marriott group hotels.”

The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I especially loved how fresh everything tasted — you can tell they really care about quality. Definitely one of the best spots for Indian cuisine in town. Highly recommend!”

“The Wallace was the perfect venue for our wedding this summer. It may not have been the cheapest but we were so happy to have found a location with views of the city and ocean whilst remaining right in the heart of Lower Lonsdale.
We also saved some money when it came to decor as the venue is so beautiful that it really didn't need much.
We had lots of guests from out of town and so we really wanted somewhere to show off why we love Vancouver/ North Shore so much - and this was the perfect spot for that.
Older guests were glad to have hotels so close, younger guests were glad to have the bars and restaurants of The Shipyards so close.
I believe we were one of the first weddings to use their in house bar as well and again it ended up being more expensive than we originally hoped - but the staff were fantastic and we had a great experience making the menu our own.
