I had two different employees help me find items with easy directions. I don't shop at this store often and always pleased with prices compared to other grocery stores.
I still spent too much but got great value 👌

The cashier was very rude. One of the items was missing barcode and her words were “How am I supposed to scan this?”. Almost sounded like she was blaming me. She could have said this is missing barcode, can you bring another one please. I have been regular customer there for over 5 years, but I have to say the standard of customer service is declining every year.

All I wanted to do was call the store and let them know I left a box in the self checkout. The phone number was a 1-877 number not a local one. Waited on hold for 10 minutes and kept telling me to use their "virtual assistant". Finally someone answered from Toronto and told me I can't speak to the grocery store directly and need to visit it in person as they don't allow the public to call the store. This is absolute BS! How do you not allow the residents of your community call the local business in which they are supporting? The woman talking then told me to give the address of the Oliver location which of course, I did my know and why would I? After telling her Oliver was in BC, she said she would have to call and ask the people there themselves because the public can't speak to them. She then asked if it was okay if she tell the staff that I left the box there that I had paid for and at this point I got angry and asked her how on earth was she going to tell them the problem if she didn't explain why I was calling. She put me on hold to call the store and 4 minutes later she returned and told me she called the store and they hung up on her! She apologized for the inconvenience but "it's out of her control" I asked her if she was serious and she said "yes, I can callback if you'd like?" I was completely flabbergasted at this point and could not believe the complete incompetence I was dealing with. At this point she called again and an employee told her they did not see the box but I should go back to the store and talk to the employees there. This was absolutely disgraceful and for those who think I'm joking I have the entire call recorded. How in today's age do you not have someone answer the phone at the location? You want us to support small business and shop locally, but then you deal with crap like this! Will shop elsewhere.

I picked up a loaf of Sourdough bread and got home and it is frozen. Why do I want to buy frozen bread? The picture I have provided is me holding the loaf in the air and it being frozen And staying together.

I stopped and bought a package of ziggy's sliced Black Forest ham got it home and opened it up to find it was all slimey. I purchased said ham on Wednesday September 18/24. I checked the best before date and it read Sept 09. They were selling product 9 days past the expiration date. I tried to call the store and let them know about it but they have some BS central call system so reaching out to the store was impossible. Poor customer service.

Flyer for Oct 3 to 9th advertising lactantia country churned salted butter for 5.99
We picked up a couple which read the same as picture. It ran in at 8.00 we had the flyer with us and showed the cashier the sale price
She called manager, Kevin, he said was not that type. Told him it was exactly the same as picture. He was so rude saying it was not the same. I showed him the picture in the flyer again he turned away and walked off saying it was not the same.
Terrible Terrible customer service.
Rudeness should never have come out of his mouth.
