“I was out of town when a Canada Post package arrived for me. By the time I got home, I had already received a notice that my package would be returned to sender. I quickly called Canada Post and talked to a super helpful employee. She spent quite some time with me locating my package and then agreed to hold my package until I could come in the next week to pick it up. The employee was patient, kind, and helpful. I have not always had great experiences with CP employees, but this experience really restored my faith in our postal services in Canada. Thanks to this great worker! I know their jobs can be frustrating at times, especially receiving phone calls like mine when they have other customers waiting in line.”

“David from the pharmacy is amazing so knowledgeable and compassionate. I am on vacation camping in Osoyoos and had left my time sensitive meds at home. I called shoppers in Penticton that had my supply on hand but the lady who answered the who raised her voice “no no no” she was so mean. I really wanted to email Human Resources at that shoppers location because they have a cruel lady that is having a bad day. Shoppers if you record incoming phone calls check out the lady answering the phone 2 days ago between 10 and 11:30. Wow. Mean. So I called into Oliver and David answered. Just kind, knowledgeable and thorough. I believe in health care people like David should be answering the phone not the mean lady in Penticton, so disrespectful. Even if she had a bad day, check the phones. That lady is penticton should not be involved in health care at all. David demonstrates how he compassion someone who works in healthcare should demonstrate. Thank you David”

“Lakeside Pharmacy staff always default to being friendly and helpful. They serve the community well and customers know they go above and beyond to help when it is in their control. There are some things pharmacies do not have control over but unfortunately their staff receive the brunt when patients are unhappy with their insurance, doctor, or rules that pharmacies have to follow to keep their doors open. There are currently nationwide shortages on drugs, insurances have rules of what medications they will pay for and doctors are very busy and may not get prescriptions sent to the pharmacy when the patient wants it to be done. In all of these cases, the pharmacy is just the messenger and blame should not be placed for things that are out of their control. Employees here should be praised for their friendliness and attention to customer's needs.”
