My first encounter with the owner of this store was at a craft fair in Nanaimo; she was friendly, approachable, informative and VERY reasonably priced. I purchased some water toys and a necklace for my 4 yr old who promptly lost it the next day while showing it off to every person possible. I was able to contact the owner and locate her full time store, my spouse went to purchase a replacement necklace but instead she gave it to him at no charge. I am astounded to be honest. It was already such a good price with impeccable service I did not expect such generosity on top of it all. 10/10.

The owner gave her husbands film camera to a new up coming film club at VIU!! I’ve always felt so welcome in this store and it has the best customer service of any thrift store on the island hands down. I will be going back

The woman who grated us was one of the most positive energy people I have ever met in my life. We chatted like we'd known each other for years and she actually gave us a free pie to try (Curry Mushroom) from her secondary business The Pie Factory. OMG! So delicious. Now I have to figure out how to order more from Victoria. Top Marks!!!
