We got a call from the Harris Oceanside Center saying that they had a 50% off promotion on oil changes. When we went to pay for our oil change they said that the promotion had been a miscommunication by their call center and it didn't actually exist. They gave me $50 off but it still was far less than 50% off. Quite frankly I don't feel like I should have to pay for their miscommunication mistakes so I'm not impressed with Harris Oceanside. We've enjoyed their service in the past but now they have lost our trust and respect. Won't going back

16:30 and the service department has punched out for the day. Not open weekends either. If I were buying a car here I'd skip the warranty, you won't be receiving any service.

Best dealership we have ever been to. Leif and Mike and Mike were awesome, didn’t rush us and everything they promised they delivered. We were not easy to deal with and they went above and beyond. We will tell everyone we know to only shop at Harris GM. Thanks to every one there making our experience this good

They are a bunch of crooked, ripoff artists. We have been looking a while for a car, Ended up settling on a used car. Told them we are paying cash. As we have saved up and worked out a deal IN WRITING. When it came time to put a deposit down they said oh sorry that price was for if you were financing the vehicle. Then told us the new price is over $1000 more. They even told me to finance it through them and just pay it off the next day. Told them NO we are paying cash, for the price we agreed upon. They would not honor the deal we had IN WRITING. What a bunch of crooked scamming ripoff artists. After telling them what I thought, I left before I really started to yell at them. We even would have been repeat customers. As we purchased a new truck a few years back. Never again. We will not be going back, and recommend everyone shop elsewhere also.

Mike Hildebrand really went the extra mile to find the used vehicle I wanted I was very picky but he hung in and delivered big time. Thanks Mike. I'd recommend this dealership to anyone.

I could not be more dissatisfied with this dealership and service department. Again another issue with our new 2024 Colorado, and again my wife leaves crying. We have lost over a weeks worth of work dealing with issues with the truck. It seems like it gets worse and worse every time we go back. The whole experience right from the sale soured us on this brand, and we will drive the extra hour to take it to another dealership when the truck has issues again. If you have issues with your truck phone gm directly as any complaints to the dealership fall on dead ears. I was forced by Google to give them one star but they don't even deserve it.

I have bought many vehicles in my lifetime and I have never felt compelled to introduce my family and friends to buy from any dealership. But now I will tell everyone I know to shop for your car at Oceanside GM
This experience was different, They showed compassion, willingness to help with a disability,and caring for our pets.
Michael went above and beyond as a manager,he proves there are some people who love their jobs and understand others. He is an exemplary person to teach our young salesman Noah. He is a good young up and comer who if he follows the lead will have many happy years selling vehicles.

My wife and I came in to purchase a vehicle and Mike Hildebrand helped us through the usually stressful process. Mike was extremely polite, professional and exemplifies outstanding customer service. In our minds, his integrity and honesty sealed the deal for us. Following the purchase, we needed to pickup some items and order a 2nd key, and Mike was right there to assist us through the entire process. I would also like to thank Scott (manager) for working with us to make the deal work for us.
Overall, this was a pleasant purchasing experience and we are thrilled with our 2022 Chevrolet Traverse. We highly recommend Oceanside Chevrolet!

Mike Hildebrand was great to work with. We had limited time to do a trade in and purchase. He made sure we got a great deal in a quick time frame. I normally hate buying cars but he made it quick and easy.

This was not the first time I bought a new vehicle but at Harris Oceanside GM this was certainly the best experience I ever had. The staff went way out of their way to accommodate me even when there was a hiccup beyond their responsibility. This was remedied out of their own pocket for my benefit. Super thankful for this experience, two thumbs up, five stars plus, can only recommend.

NEVER BUY A VEHICLE FROM HERE, Almost a year ago, I acquired a pre-owned Ford 2012. I am a student who saved up a lot of money for my car, which cost about $12000 with taxes. Literally the same day we got the car home, it began to have difficulties. We even called the person, but there was no answer. After a couple of months, I started going to college, and it began to have transmission difficulties; I spent an additional $2000 on it. It is still not repaired. I phoned them several times, and they always said they'd call me back but never did. As a student, saving so much money is challenging, especially when I have to pay rent. I spent $14,000 on it, and I regret purchasing a vehicle from here. That's equivalent to my three years of college costs. I do not typically post negative reviews, but as a student, I want other students to be aware of these scams. I even tried trading it in with other firms, but they stated it was only worth $3000, which is less than half of what I spent. I'm really disappointed.

Last September I purchased a car for my wife at HO, the financing wasn’t great but we went ahead with the purchase, there was a few problems that I’ve posted before and won’t go into right now
About 2 months ago I was contacted by HO sales department about doing more business, I laughed and mentioned that my previous dealings didn’t go as I would liked and I was thinking about refinancing my vehicle bc of the high interest rate that I sighed on for, the salesman told me that maybe he could help and sure enough he got back to me with much better rates,
He had the documents emailed to me and it took a day or so for me to get time to look at what was sent
I was contacted a few times reminding me that this deal was time sensitive so I gave it the attention that I needed to look over this document
What I noticed was 2 different warranties and a insurance policy were attached to the deal without my input or consent. Both warranties were useless to me, one covering the interior of the car against rips, scratches and blemishes and the other was pretty much the same but only for the exterior of the car
The insurance covered my loan payments to a certain extent in the event that I was ill and couldn’t do so myself but it had a very low ceiling so I did not give it much attention
Financially the amount of money financed was $1500 over what I owed on my car, did anyone not think that I would not inquire about the amount owing on the original loan. Obviously I turned it down, I often wonder if this is a common occurrence but warn people to be on your feet when signing up for loans in the tens of thousands of dollars, I have yet to have a positive experience with this dealership, and will be reporting this to the BBB, sometimes you just can’t sit idly by let things slide As you can see HOG has posted a response to my review, Erica contacted me and we had a discussion about my concerns and she was sympathetic and offered to look into what could be done, and get back to me but never did, there was no resolution up to that point , so for her to post that she thought the matter was resolved was purely false
