This place put a new ignition in my car. They must of unhooked the battery which messed with all the codes, gas petal wouldn't work or the windows or Bluetooth. I went back in and the guy at the counter said that it wasn't there problem. I had to go to another mechanic to have them fix all the codes so I could drive my car. I would never go back.

booked an appointment a week in advance, during the booking they went over what was to be done with the car, ( exhaust) the following week i left it there for the day to get the work done, i got a call within an hour of dropping the car off saying that the mechanics refuse to do the work because of legal issues. the owner then said to call his sons shop in qualicum as they do this type of work all the time ( i guess its not illegal at his shop), i booked an appointment ,waited a week then what do ya know, i had to call them at noon as i had not heard back from him giving me a quote to do the work, when i called he said that his mechanic said it would take 5 hours plus parts. over all you shouldnt book a car in for service you already know what your going to do, only to tell the customer you should by a full exhaust then get them to install it . after the 2 failed bookings the next shop i called got me in the next day and did the work without issue (3 hours labour not 5 ), 1 star because i needed to choose that to post this

I went to see the place and had a chat with Mike up front. He showed me around and introduced me to a couple of the mechanics.

My fan belt snapped on my way from Nanaimo to Courtenay. Miles Automotive saved they day! They were able to get me in quickly, fixed and back on the road for a reasonable price.

My car was making a weird sound from the wheels which was gradually increasing. I couldn't make head and tails of it and was concerned if its gonna cost me a fortune for repair.
Guess what...I walked-in at Miles Automotive and met Jeff who diagnosed the issue and fixed it in minutes, gave me some advise on how to ensure safety. Seeing his genuine interest to help fix my car I also went for an oil change and he assisted in all way possible with a range of options suitable.
They know their stuff well and are approachable, friendly and honest. Pricing was pretty competitive also. I would recommend them for their sheer professionalism, honestly and good prices. You can also look for Brock just in case Jeff isn't around.
Not to mention I was on crutches and the place is accessible for "People of Determination"

Showed up on time for an early morning appointment only to be told - with no apology- that I'd have to wait because they overbooked and then they proceeded to complain about their boss and lecure me on how lengthy and expensive my potential car issues could be and on how the back end of car shops work. I decided to go elsewhere.

My truck threw a serpentine belt while on the highway. I exited into Parksville and found this shop on a Thursday afternoon during some nasty cold weather. They had my truck in the shop within half an hour.The parts supply required an overnight stay at the shop so I rented a car to get home and the next day before noon they had my truck done. The belt had wrapped itself around the water pump and the idler pulleys needed replacement.Thanks folks!!

These guys are awesome.I took my car in after I broke some stuff on it. fixed it for me in a few hours, ordered the part in super quick as well.Only mechanics ill go to on Vancouver Island and the only auto repair shop i would recommend to my friends. the employees here are also really awesome

I want to thank Miles Automotive for the exceptionally efficiency and most of all friendly customer service provided to me in a very stressful and difficult situation by Jeff Keenan and company! I am extremely happy with their undivided interest in taken care of their clients without hesitation or discrimination.
