  Horrific experience with the cashier who had no idea what he was doing. Allowed me to purchase items, and then forced me to either return them or get a different item because two out of three of the items I had picked out were part of a “set” ??? And then rattled on about how he doesn’t normally do refunds, when this was literally entirely his fault ????? He also really obviously didn’t want to be there. He was actively turning away customers right before they were supposed to close. Honestly really terrible experience, everything in this store is ridiculously overpriced, and for the incompetent service ?? DON’T go here.

  I am a frequent shopper at Deja Vu. I live in Peachland and it's always a destination for when I need to buy small gifts and cards for friends and family throughout the year. Yesterday I was received by a younger gentleman (well not received - ignored) who did not greet me, and when I enquired as to where the Valentine's Cards were, there was a limp hand gesture without actual words. Once I had selected a card and a $50 trinket, I approached the counter where once again there was no verbal communication, no thank you, no recognition. Once the transaction was completed (I had to look at the till to find out how much it was), I had to stare directly at him for a few awkward seconds before he realized that this was the traditional part of an interaction where the words "good-bye" were called for. A "thank-you" never actually ocurred to him. I now regret that I didn't continue down the road for half a kilometer where I could have purchased the same two items from the Art Gallery/Old School House where I am convinced I would have had my patronage valued.

  Love this store been going for years.I hope the owners come back to work there.The young man working there is very unfriendly and not helpful.He dosent try to help anyone.Just so the owners know.You won’t sell much with him there.

  There is a starkly noticeable difference of treatment dependent on how you're dressed. Nothing in this store is worth the lack of kindness that the employees/owners exude. Shop elsewhere.

  I am so very dissapointed. Every single time I come to Peachland I look forward to shopping in my once favorite store. Today my husband and I walked in the store and the women behind the counter quickly looked up, looked us up and down and then put her head down. No hello or anything. While I understand we are dressed casually (leggings and sweatshirt for me and jean and a sweatshirt for my husband) we bother felt we were judged on how we were dressed. Very dissapointed and certainly did not spend a dime. It literally takes 2 seconds to say hello!

  Horrible customer service, wont shop there ever again. The lady that works the till and answers the phone shouldn’t work in the customer service industry. Very unpleasant experience.

  I looked into this store the other day. Filled with interesting nik nacs. Some very nice pieces of clothing and huge assortment of other things to decorate a home with. Enjoyed poking around and seeing all the interesting objects. Good place to pick up a gift or find that little something to decorate your home.
