(Reviewing cabin #15) Stayed here with myself and 2 other adults for 1 week. With the three of us, it was quite squishy and we personally would not bring anymore guests despite the 6 person capacity suggestion.Prior to arrival, were never given any welcome/orientation package/how to get into the cabin and had to contact the owner who mentioned that the resort would/should send it to us but they never did. After our tiring 14 hr travel day, we arrived to Currents at night and managed to find our place in the dark but still had to call the owner to see which cabin # we were in and find out how to access the cabin. The place has a very nice view of the marina and the neighbours have a very nice view of your entire downstairs...especially at night. If you'd like privacy and are coming to this cabin, I would suggest bringing your own blinds or curtains as there are none in the entire downstairs despite there being multiple big windows. There is also no storage for clothes or suitcases in the room. The closet for the 'big' bedroom has a curtain rod with no more than 5 hangers and no shelves/dresser for clothes and zero floorspace to lay suitcases down. The other bedroom has a locked closet. If you're bringing a suitcase to this cabin, you're likely going to need to store your clothes downstairs. You will be charged a $150 cleaning fee. I'm not entirely sure what $150 worth of cleaning needs to be done after completing the entire 8x11 page checklist of cleaning to do prior to checkout and minimal cleaning supplies provided.Water- would definitely recommend purchasing water from the local store to avoid a heavily brackish taste from taps.Pros: views, proximity to the ocean, modern suite, well stocked kitchen supplies, parking, willingness and flexibility to extend our stay as we had transportation issues, washing machine + dyer was great to have too.Cons: see above.

Second bedroom is small. House is better for a couple and 2 kids.

What a splendid retreat place! There is just something so magical about this location. The staff were wonderful when we accidentally left our favorite blanket there - it just arrived at our doorstep within days. I highly recommend Currents and Pender Island when your soul needs to recharge.

The places are small for our group of 5 but we always manage to squeeze in. They're all nice and clean, well stocked kitchens and nice views. The living room is a bit cramped with one comfy couch a 2 crappie wicker chairs. Super convenient location being right next to the ferries ⛴.

Sigh. Sit back, relax and exhale the white noise of the city. Walking distance from the ferry. Beautiful place to watch the ocean and it's inhabitants. Loved watched the ferries arrive and leave. Surprisingly quiet.

What a fantastic experience!!! Dan and Tara hats off to you both. Sarah and I visited the Marina by boat and were treated like royalty when we arrived. Service was top notch and "no" just didn't seem to be part of their business model. The baked goods were heavenly, the pool was pleasantly warm and clean, the atmosphere was perfect for a getaway to unplug. Don't hesitate to check this place out.

Power is out again...no reliable power here unfortunately. Management says bring candles...there is a generator for the main office but none for the paying customers...gave a quick wash of the floor (just checking) though when we checked in...not clean!

Convenient and beautiful location. Very clean. Would come back in the late spring or summer as we were without power for 16hours (the whole island not just these cabins) beds were a little uncomfortable but the view made up for that!
