Pizza is Shockingly great. Service has slipped a lot in the past few years but I think they're under staffed a lot.

They have this northern thailand dish called Khao Soi. It is supposed to be a rich soup, with egg noodles and deep fried egg noodles on top. When I saw it on the menu I was super excited as it's a hard dish to find in Canada. I got even more excited when the server said it was one of the best dishes on the menu. What arrived was vermicelli noodle pasta. And not good pasta either. Not soup. No deep fried egg noodles. Not comparable at all. It was not khao soi. I dont usually leave bad reviews but this was so dissapointing that now 4 months later it still bothers me. So i will leave this complaint and this request. Change the name or remove it from the menu.

Food was better than it used to be last time I went (many years ago.) Service staff were great. The only annoying thing were the consistently unaware customers who can't read or follow simple instructions like wait at the door. We had several folks loudly complaining about how they didn't have menus at the table after they sat themselves; customers suck sometimes.Kudos to the team for calmly and kindly explaining that the restaurant is not "seat yourself."

Stopped by for dinner on our last night. Place was pretty full but didn’t feel crowded. Lots of dark wood inside but the big windows made it seem nice and light inside. They provided a nice view of the water and boats.Jillian our server was really friendly. I had a pint of Nomad Cider and my wife had a glass of See Ya Later Pinot Noir. Both went well with dinner. We both ordered large bowls of creamy seafood chowder which were loaded with salmon, mussels and clams! New England style so a white creamy chowder with lots of flavour. The garlic bread was great for dipping in my soup. For dessert we shared a piece of key lime pie which was light and so delicious! A great way to finish off the night! We’d eat here again.

Truly deserving of more stars! We were blown away at the quality of the food we had here last night, 8/31/23.We have eaten here several times in past years, this time was different. The food was elegant, and delicious! Not saying that it wasn’t good in the past, but more pub style food. Last night start to finish our meal, service and cocktails were fabulous!Presentation was impressive! Seafood was fresh and delicious! I was served a real whiskey sour, with egg whites. So rare! So enjoyable! This is a game changer for us, it will now be a regular stop for us.Well done Crew at Port Browning Marina Pub!

We popped into the Port Browning Pub for lunch based on online reviews, and were not disappointed in the least! The experience was so good we came back on the last day of our trip for dinner. The service was fast, friendly and attentive, and the food got enthusiastic thumbs up all around. And the view...stunning!!The dishes were all worth a recommendation: fried chicken, salmon, Pender Bender and bigger burgers, Margherita and fungi pizzas, the chicken brie sandwich, and the seafood chowder. The calamari appy was tasty, but quite small for the price, so I wouldn't recommend it.I'd like to try other restaurants next time we're on Pender, but would also happily go back again!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten free options!

This waterfront locally sourced eatery/pub hits all the marks! Awesome beer, wine, cider, as local as you can get. Must stop when on pender, it’s the only restaurant on North Pender that’s open every day.The highlights from two visits:Really great servers (thank you Justin and Jillian) who checked in frequently and were friendly and kind.Good traditional fish & chips that we had with seafood chowder on a busy Sunday afternoon. Excellent Caesar drink and local beers Next day we had Caesar salad with fresh Parmesan shavings and real bacon, local Salt Spring mussels and a local salmon burger. The garlic cream mussel sauce was so good we dipped all the other food in it.Great view and comfy seats.Just right noise levels indoorsPatio ocean side seating.Don’t miss it!

I didn't have any food here. This is a camping review.I'm going to start with the good. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they had showering facilities, potable water, a kayak rental booth, and the location is amazing. Now the ugly. They provide nowhere near the value they charge for camping. We stayed in the orchard sites which are absolutely terrible, it's almost criminal they allow people to sleep on these sites. It is one big hill and you will not get a good night's sleep. They should be leveling it out or installing tent pads so you aren't sleeping on a massive incline. The showers were disgusting, the floor in the bathrooms are always muddy and the stools they provide in the stalls look like they're covered in black mold. The whole campground needs a good clean, there was even some sort of portable toilet and a shoe in the bushes. There is a water tap but no sink to wash dishes so make sure you are prepared for that.If they made some tent pads, did a better job of cleaning, and had a sink to clean at I would absolutely stay here again but the conditions were terrible. Chances are I will never stay here again and would NOT recommend it to anyone. Waste your money elsewhere.

We we’re visiting a friend on Pender who recommended we tie our dinghy up at the dock here. The place looks lovely and we’ll be back again for sure. Thanks for looking after our dinghy!

Do not come to this Island (Pender), unless it’s from Wednesday thru Sunday. Most eating establishments outside those days are closed and those that are open, have unreliable hours of operation which they all blame on staffing issues. Went to this pub for dinner on a Tuesday evening at 6:45 pm and although their stated hours are clearly till 8:00 pm, we were turned away at the door citing staffing issues. Clearly they were still serving customers when we arrived. What would it have taken to remain open one extra hour like they’re supposed to? Pack your lunches if you come to this island as getting reliable restaurant service anywhere is nearly impossible. Other than baked goods, there is literally only one place on the entire Island to have a sit down breakfast, and again that’s only from Wednesday thru Sunday. I can’t tell you if the food is good at this pub, as we weren’t given the opportunity. Solve your staffing and/or your management issues and try to keep reliable hours.

Great place for a pub night. Some beer cans are reasonably priced. The beach out the Marian is good! Pizza is really good, we had the Korean BBQ chicken pizza and I highly recommend it!
