One of my best in person comic book shopping experiences. Note I want to mention up front that the conditions of the comic books in this shop are stellar. Okay. Here goes … Wife and I are in the okanagon valley, BC doing the wine tour stuff and as a surprise my wife made it a point of finding a local comic book shop for me to check out. Just so I had something to do. She found the place Castle Comics in Penticton, BC. It is a glorious find. The shop owner specializes in Bronze Age comics and the store is strewn with treasures. You have to hunt through the boxes as the boxes as some boxes are unorganized but these unorganized boxes are full of delights. Store owner, Rich, is very knowledgeable and helpful, and will point you to what you are looking for. Store has a wide selection comic books, trade paperbacks, omnibuses, hardcover books, toys, funko pops, posters and art. Big shoutout to my wife who now gets to buy what she wants at the local wineries. I’m set.

Met Rich today and he was more than fair with his offer of my sealed toy figures... he was classy, easy to talk to and very generous in his offer......a great guy to deal with + he's a METALHEAD ????

Have been in a couple times a year for over 20 years. Rich is always friendly and knowledgable. There are always so many unique toys/books you wont find anywhere else. Highly reccomend stopping in!

Castle Comics is the place to stop if you are looking for quality products, genuinely good customer service, and a thoroughly enjoyable experience! What a store should look like, and the friendly owner treats customers with courtesy. Make it a stop if you are in the Okanagan looking for comics and collectibles!

The friendly neighborhood comic bookstore ?♂️Wide selection of comic books from the latest and going back to vintage ones as far back as the 60s, a large variety of toys at reasonable prices and plus the owner is super nice ?

Great experience every time I have visited. When it comes to comics, there is a stock of back issues with a great selection. New releases weekly and the option of creating your own pull box/ subscription. There is a wonder of other collectables to meet the "needs" of any collector. But over and above is the owner Rich. It has been a pleasure every time I have visited. You won't find a owner/ operator more down to earth who's genuine passion is so refreshing and inviting. "Cool guy". I have recently moved to Penticton and couldn't be happier to have discovered Castle Comics and more so, to have met Rich. I highly recommend anyone to visit and take in a uplifting wonderful experience.

Was a regular pitstop for us in the late 90's, when Pokemon was a brand new thing. This store rocks and I'm glad its still around.
