I have purchased 7 vehicles either new or used from Rob Adams. I would recommend dealing with him to anyone. I wouldn't buy a vehicle from anyone else even though I have to drive some distance to get to Penticton. He is knowledgeable, hard working, trustworthy, and takes time to understand what I am looking for. Through vehicle purchases Rob has become a friend.

Worst experience I ever had purchasing a new truck. Had to wait so long for a truck to be made. Sales person was very rude when I was asking for updates in when my truck was going to be ready. After almost a year waiting. They try and rush the sale. So they could get there numbers befor the end of month. And then when you ask them not to put a Bannister sticker on your new truck it comes with one anyway. I will never go there for service. Or anything. And will tell anybody that asks me about my truck. I will tell them to never get anything from that dealership.

Excellent place to purchase a vehicle. RJ and Kirk answered all of our questions and provided excellent support and feedback in every area of the vehicle.
There were no high-pressure sales tactics just a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere while purchasing our new truck.
I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone interested In purchasing a new or used vehicle.

We recently purchased a 2024 Equinox EV at Bannister Chevrolet Penticton and are pleased that the purchase went well. Our salesperson, Ella and staff at the dealership, were very thorough and patient in the demonstrations and explanations to our many questions as well as vehicle features and options. There was no sales pressure envolved in the dealing and we feel that going forward we will continue to have a plesant relationship and will take advantage of the services they provide and solutions to any problems that may arise.

After the post below, I had a discussion with Will Seguin and he expressed sincere regret that things went the way they did. We had a very good conversation and I felt like he recognized where things went wrong. My post below does not address how much I enjoyed the day I spent with them buying the vehicle. I also told Will that I am still completely crazy about the car I got there. After my chat with Will, I decided to change my rating to better reflect the whole of my experiences with Bannister. I am also attaching two photos. The first is of me with my car in the Bannister parking lot when I first fell in love with it. The second is of the car after I had parts of it wrapped in red.
I bought a vehicle with Bannister in June. It was a quick transaction, their computers were down at the time, but we were able to complete everything. As soon as all the required payments cleared, I left the dealership with the vehicle.
Three months later, Mr. Grimmer from Bannister called my cell saying there was a mistake and I owed them another $2,000. I was very surprised. I looked into it and it did appear that somehow that got missed. All the payments that had been asked of me at the time had cleared. I called back, said I agreed that somehow the $2,000 got missed and was willing to pay.
Mr. Grimmer was very brusque (to the point of being very rude). I was shocked considering that the original error had been theirs and the fact that it took them three months to figure out there was a problem was also on them. There was no acknowledgement of the fact that I was staying in contact with them and voluntarily offering to pay the extra amount. In fact, they made me feel like this was my fault. There was no apology for the error (Mr. Grimmer did not even seem to wish to acknowledge any error on their part) and certainly no offer to find a compromise that would have worked for both sides. Nevertheless I paid it but then wrote a letter to the Management and Mr. Grimmer outlining why I was not happy with how things went. It has been two months and I have never received any response.
I am not a resident of BC and maybe Bannister cares more about its clients who they think are likely to be repeat customers. This company demonstrated very clearly that they did not care at all about me. Even if I were a resident, I would never buy another vehicle with them.
