I used to work here and during my time here I saw how every member of the staff treated the patients with the utmost compassion. The staff are all very knowledgeable people and I learned a lot from them . I really miss this place! Definitely a great pharmacy to go to if you are looking for top notch care.

I have been using Safeway as my pharmacy for as long as I can remember. My whole family uses their services and have done so for years in many towns across BC. In the past I have been very happy with this Safeway pharmacy as they have treated me well. However I am sorry to say that I feel I have to switch pharmacies. Over the past year I have been treated with contempt twice and just this past Friday, when I went to pick something up, I was made to feel like I was a waste of their time even to the point where the staff member glared and snapped at me for asking a question. I refuse to be treated this way and will be taking my business elsewhere.

I went to Shoppers Drug Mart first to get my magnesium citramate supplement, but the pharmacist didnt even come out to look at what is on the shelf or to recommend something else. The Safeway pharmacist a very nice young man came out to look at the shelves, he searched the whole shelf to find the one I wanted and then went to his computer and found out the brand I wanted but they didnt carry it. Fortunately, he looked at ingredients of all of them and found one I wanted and it was on sale too.

I am in Penticton from the coast and on medication (methadone) that without I will get VERY sick. My doctor did not send my new perscription to them and left me without for the weekend. Most pharmacies would say tough luck and treat me like an adict, but the staff here went way above and beyond to help me out in a time of need. Corina in particular was a life saver (literally) , calling a doctor and getting me in after hours to get a new perscription when I had no other options. Not even the hospital could help me out. I have never encountered a pharmasist that was so willing to help and not leave me hanging. Keauyen was very helpful as well searching for numbers and different ways to help me out. If you need a pharmacy that truly cares about your well being then this is the place!
