The service department at Skaha Ford has gone above any service I have received at other dealerships in BC. Their ability to get me in to fix a problem within days is something I have never experienced and they not only fixed my issue but dealt with all of my recalls without asking. Thanks For all your Help

I had left a 4 star review before. It's now a month later, and I find I have to drop it to a 1.They have huge wait times for service. I have asked 3 times for a recall to be done, and each time I have been given an excuse (today, it was parts won't be available for several weeks).I wanted to buy out the lease. They had no idea how to do it. 8 weeks later and it's still not done. They had me come in and get new plates, now they have told me I need to come in for ANOTHER set of new plates. When I said I wanted to buy out the truck, they said I HAD to have an end-of-lease inspection. I was buying it "as is" so didn't know why, but they said it was mandatory, so okay.2 days after the "inspection" the check engine light came on. Timing is all wonky. They admit they did some sort of update to the computer, so bring the truck in next week.So I bring in the truck, they say "oh bad news, it's not the update, we have to yank the engine!". This from a truck that has never missed an oil change, nor has EVER had a single issue up until now.A month later, they finally get me in for the service, tell me 2-3 days. 7 days later I call the service department 5 times, leave 3 messages. Finally get a call back "it's ready". No idea when it was finished...not impressed.Pick up vehicle. Rat (that I had just noticed when I brought it in, and had asked them to hopefully remove it) has made a nest in the engine compartment, so for the past week the thing was crapping in the engine and ripping up my insulation and wires. That's how I get my "repaired" vehicle. (pic included). We had actually leased a new vehicle through them as well. They "forgot" to include the deposit when they calculated the payments, and they just kept the deposit. Now whenever I ask about it, they just ignore the question. I don't think they are trying to keep it, I just think they don't know what they're doing.I've been a ford customer for 30 years, and had 12 leases between my wife and I. It took 2 months for this dealership to destroy all that goodwill.*****UPDATE!!!!!So 2 years after this initial incident, I discover that they misled me about what they did to the engine (they only swapped a sensor!), and they kept the vehicle just so that I thought they had done the full warranty work. I got the SAME codes on the dashboard, and when I went in, NOW they can diagnose that the phasers are bad and it needs a COMPETE front end overhaul!! They were happy to present me a bill for over $6000!!!(Plus $5000 for a front differential on a sub 70K vehicle)Fortunately FORD USA got involved and agreed that I had been shafted and paid 75% of the engine repair. When I confronted the dealership, they made the mistake of forwarding me their internal warranty claim papers, which showed that they charged FORD for a rear latch recall repair, which they never did, and then charged ME to repair it. All of this is documented and I have contact names and incident report numbers for all of it, available to anyone who questions any details. I personally won't ever be using this dealership again. Do with this info what you will, I am (was) a Ford guy, with no reason to start a beef with the dealership, but am sure happy to see hundreds of unsold pickups filling their front lot. Why pay for something that needs massive repairs as soon as they can get you out of warranty??

The best experience. I live in Calgary and found the car I was looking for only at this dealership. Very friendly staff, professional and helping. Mathew and Aziz were so friendly, even picked me up at the airport. The car was ready for me, certified, clean and shiny. I would definitely recommend that dealership to everyone. Thank you Scaha Ford.

Kent and Cord were great at explaining everything so it was easy to understand as it was the first time I’ve ever purchased my own vehicle. There was no pressure to do anything I didn’t want to do and I really appreciated that. Both are very knowledgeable individuals and were great to work with on getting my new vehicle.

Mitch and his team in the service center did an awesome job on our truck. For years we have had trouble with it and sunk so much money into trying to fix it going to many different mechanics. We drove 2.5hrs just to take it to Mitch based on reviews from friends who had gone to Skaha as well and it was so worth it. Our truck sounds like a whole new vehicle and when my husband says we should have more years with this truck, I actually believe it now. Mitch had it diagnosed within a day and was super affordable.

I have been having issues with my truck and after having the transmission and the turbo replaced at other mechanic shops, and still not getting the main issue fixed, I was seriously feeling lost. I took the truck to skaha and mitch and his crew were happy to go on a drive with me so I could show them the issue. A day later they contacted me and said they had the issue diagnosed and were fixing it. A very knowledgable group of diesel mechanics. I picked up my truck and was blown away. Emotional even! It's been like driving a brand new truck again. My wife even stated how I've been driving the truck more lately over her smaller vehicle that would save us on fuel.In these tough times, a trustworthy mechanic is worth their weight in gold, and these guys are it!Very happy with the shop at skaha!
