Well, another one bites the dust.Only option to pay at our Value Village is self check out or cash. I often don't carry cash on me, so I won't be going to Value Village again they don't pay me to work there to do cashier work!

Prices have gone up ridiculously! I cannot believe what they are trying to sell for such extravagant prices. You would be better off to go to the dollar store or Walmart and get whatever you need new for the same price as the worn out and broken stuff they are selling for the same price.

Now Value Village has joined the "self checkout" club. The regular checkout lines are cash only so if you want to use debit or credit you are stuck with doing their job and the attendant is not willing to do it for you. I have a job and do not wish to work for Value Village(or any other store for that matter) so I'll spend my money elsewhere

Just when I thought a value village couldn’t get any worse… this location doesn’t even have a changing room! Oh yes and of course it’s crazily overpriced. You can get a lot of things cheaper from dollorama or dollar tree.

Very organized, and quit clean considering there was no staff there! Huge line up to check out as there was only one til open and it was 30% off day! Besides that'll be back again for their great selection!

I really liked the variety of decorations on this value village. Women's clothing was a bit disappointing.

Clean and tidy surprisingly as there were no employees in sight. No employees to help customers through the self check out. I had to help an older lady through check out as she was not familiar on how to use it. I don't get paid to work there and I still offered to help her. Be nice to have employees that actually want to be there and work. Products continue to outrageously priced. Two of the same products but two different prices. One was $4.99 or was $12.99. Quality was the same, both were in good used condition.

Loads of stuff.. look for discount coupons by signing up. Regular price can be a bit high.. well it is to high for thrifting but you can find some excellent name brand items cheap. Get the coupons or go on seniors days. I found some awesome clothes and a couple new with tags.. woot

I was gonna buy a TV here today. They wouldn't take cash even though I had exact change. They said only debit and credit. So I told them that I'll have my Friend send me an etransfer to pay it. They kicked me out of the lineup instead of opening up the other self checkouts worst run value village I ever seen don't shop here

Penticton location -The manager at Value Village needs to give her head a shake. The one star is for the female staff who was helpful when my son bought something from electronics. Thank you by the way. Now, we all understand the money goes to charitable organizations etc...but honestly.Over pricing used items has always been an issue there, only she takes things to the next level, and ask her yourself she will justify her decision as if to convince herself as she isn't listening to amybody. Pricing used items you can get for new... seriously ?I use to shop there because it was semi reasonable and going to charity I'd tell myself, now I can't even rationalize that ridiculous thought. I tell everyone I talk to about how ridiculous she is and I say she because the staff clearly just work there.Where can I donate and yes shop in the second hand world without feeling robbed.

Large verity, lady I talked to was very kind and helpful. Frustrating that they don’t have fitting rooms but also will only do exchanges no money back. Found a few things that were priced the same or higher then at other stores for new.

Prices are unreasonable! Clothing is often filled with hair, dirty, smell terrible.... just unfit to be put out on the floor! Some of the employees act like the items are new and are unreasonable when there isn't a price on things! They forget that all the items were donated!!!

Sure, they have a large selection, but with prices going up and customer service tanking, if I wanted to overpay at a military compound. I think I could find somewhere better to do it.

The place is very good, there are many things to see, only there are some prices that seem as if you were buying in the store

No longer a 5 star experience. Prices are just too out of control here. I can find better deals at Walmart these days.
