Stopped here to pickup a few drinks and snacks after work. Noticed a promotion for Gatorade’s on the box shelf stating 8 gatorades for $8.88. When going to the counter the employee rang up over $20 dollars for the drinks. Asking the employee to look at the shelf he was very impatient and angry. I pointed out the promotion on the box and the worker got very hostile pointing at another sign stating another promotion for more money.
I was only trying to point out the sign saying 8 for 8.88 and the worker was very angry and not understanding or calm whatsoever. I told the employee they should cover the sign since it’s confusing but he told me he wouldn’t cover it and walked away angrily.
Another employee walked out and laughed in my face over it saying “yeah right” as if they would ever sell it at that price and went and covered the sign for 8.88. I was left paying the more expensive price.
Both employees were acting like I was trying to scam them and acted very hostile and rude over a promotion they had on the shelf.
If they had acted in a more understanding and calm manner I couldn’t care less about the whole thing.
Really a bad experience for a brief stop at a gas station. Hopefully your employees can learn or need training on how to properly deal with a situation like this in the future.
