Although they weren’t able to carry out the repair due to it being a European vehicle with limited parts availability, their effort and attitude were outstanding. Super friendly, honest, and down-to-earth people who genuinely care and want to help.

“Travelling through Port Alberni (hauling our 25’ travel trailer) our truck suddenly went into low engine power mode and wasn’t drivable. It was a Friday afternoon and we were on our way to Ucluelet/Tofino. We tried three different mechanics including the GM dealership and nobody had the time to come with a code reader to diagnose our issue. The earliest anybody could help would have been Monday morning and this would have impacted our vacation. Our fourth call was to Offroad Diesel. We couldn’t believe our good fortune when the owner Joe Hawkins said he could come immediately to help. Within minutes he was at our truck and diagnosed our issue. We unhooked and had BCAA tow our vehicle to the shop. Joe said he would see if anyone had the needed part and if they did would have it shipped overnight. He then would have his son come in early on the Saturday morning to complete the repair. Everything came together as planned and we were able to pick up the truck at 10 am and continue on with our vacation. I can’t say enough about the level of service Joe and his son provided us and in our estimation at a very reasonable and fair price. Thanks so much guys!”
