Built a business on top of an incredibly destructive and unsustainable industry and then cuts an ad crying about environmental regulation infringing on his ability to make a profit from destroying wild salmon populations. Time to pull up your bootstraps, find a job and stop whining and moaning as if you’re the good guy here.

Pay top dollar and get poor service.
I have used Hardy Bouys in the past to process my fish and received my fish beautifully filleted with pin bones, fins, and rib cage bones removed.
I’m not sure what happened to Hardy Bouys. I just received my fish and the fillets are not beautifully done up like previous years.
When I reached out to Hardy Bouys about my concern the response I receive is one that does not care.
I will be taking my business elsewhere.

This place is the worst. We were fishing the end of August. We couldn't take our fish with us because this place closed for a few days. We were promised our fish would be shipped upon rheir return. It hasn't arrived yet!!! Upon a phone call they assured me that the fish would ship that week. That was two weeks ago. And now no one answers the phone or gets back when a message is left.

What went from excitement that something like this was finally on the market and locally made, turned into disappointment with almost a bit of anger. All of B.C is lobbying together to have these fish farms removed from our coast, there are plenty of fact based articles and documentaries to explain the impact they have had on our LOCAL salmon. I dont have your Financials, I'm assuming you are into the millions of dollars spent at these fish farms? You're selling sick, toxic, disease infested, pen fish and labeling them to be these prime top pick from the cold deep waters of the mouth watering pacific ocean ....... selling three headed fish smothered in Canadian made fake 🍁 ish sauces to support your family.

I was excited to try a product from BC that boasts fresh salmon from “our local crystal clear waters” only to find out they use Atlantic salmon. Seriously!?
Secondly, the package says “we do not add preservatives or artificial colours”, what they fail to mention is that they add artificial maple extract instead of maple syrup.
Make a quality product, charge a little more if you have to but don’t try to deceive. Shame on you.

The Atlantic Salmon is farmed Salmon. Their product is not Salmon caught off the Pacific Coastal waters of Vancouver Island. Port Hardy - crystal clear waters meaningthat it is farmed Atlantic Salmon.
