Honest! I went in for an ac issue. They could have just sold me a new actuator but instead looked into every possible other fix including resetting via software. Possibly because of their fiddling the problem went away on its own and I saved a bundle!

The guys at Apollo Automotive are the kings of custom weld repairs. About five years ago, they stitched together the rusted exhaust on our 2004 Toyota Sienna, saving us thousands of dollars in replacement parts. Those repairs are still strong to this day. More recently, when an inner part of the driver's door broke off (a common problem on the Sienna), they were once again able to manufacture and weld a custom solution to hold this part in place, saving the thousands of dollars it would take to buy and paint a new door (see photos). Finally, and most importantly, they are just an honest, family run business equipped to handle all your automotive repair needs!

In the middle of a rain storm and headed to Whistler for work, my wipers stopped working. I pulled into the nearest place, two dealerships in fact, and they said they couldn't help me. We called a mechanic nearby and were laughed at when I said I thought it was the fuse. We were close to Apollo and stopped in desperation to ask if someone could have a quick look. A lovely woman and gentleman named Matt were super helpful and kind. Matt came out and had a look, listening to me and showing me an area to troubleshoot. He was able to swap the fuses and get the wipers working again, advising me in less than 10 minutes that it could be a connection issue. I can't thank Matt and his team more for being so great and kind. Apollo Automotive in Port Moody is definitely the place to go for professional, expert advice and work!

These guys are the ONLY mechanics I recommend. They have consistently gone above and beyond to help me out, and they really, actually care about their clients and their needs. They are honest, good people and the only ones I trust with my vehicle, which happens to be my livelihood as well. These people are Heroes. And I love them.
Additional: Over the last 8 years, they are the only mechanics i take my vehicles to. They are Kindness, and they do everything they can to help you, and they have my Trust. Unlike other mechanics, when they tell me my car NEEDS a de-combobulator for the fallopion transfer tubes, I'm not questioning it, because I KNOW my car needs it. And I know these wonderful people have my back. Want piece of mind? Take your vehicle to Apollo. Genuinely great people :)
Update: These are the ONLY people you should bring your vehicle to. They care about you and your vehicle unlike most places. I cannot recommend them highly enough. 100/5 stars every single time.
Update: oct 2023 Like today for example. They have maintained and repaired my vehicle so well, when my car battery finally died completely it turns out it had been in there for 10 years well past its designed lifetime. These people... are Miracles. They're the reason my family has a livelihood and are some of the best humans I know. Don't waste your time and money anywhere else, you simply won't get the same treatment, value and end result anywhere else. Go to Apollo, Carlos Spicy Weener commands you! ?
Update: Once again, my check engine light was on, my oil was gone, and an expensive part needed replacing. These wonderful wonderful humans fixed me up fast, explained what was broken and why and removed my stress with kindness and understanding. I have never met better mechanics and people than those at Apollo ? Get down there and get some peace of mind and your car truck van boat whatever sorted out. I have never regretted it once with these wonderful people. And neither will you!

Ive had my vehicles repaired at Apollo for years. The work is always done quickly and efficiently for a fair price. The mechanics are friendly and talk me through what needs to be done. Vicky is always a pleasure to see at the front desk with her warm smile! Well done Apollo! Thanks for the great work!

Check your catalytic converter before you drive off….The muffler in my car was leaking at the flange just before the catalytic converter so I called Apollo and the lady who answered was very pleasant and was able to slot me in. I dropped the car and the guy told me they will check and call me. Which he did shortly after. He told me he needed to change the “front” pipe at which point I asked if they could not cut the flange and replace it with a new one to which he said no it’s too rusted cannot be welded so they have to replace the front pipe. I asked him if it would affect the catalytic converter and he said no. He quoted me $260 plus tax. I asked if that was the best price he could give and he said yes cause they were replacing it with a new one. Since I wanted it done I said go ahead. He said it will be ready in 1.5hrs.1.5hrs later I came to get the car as I was paying I asked him if catalytic converter was affected and he said “no I didn’t have to touch it “. We chatted about the weather getting cold and I thanked him and left.I get home and get under the car to start doing an oil change and I noticed the catalytic converter is go and replaced with a piece of pipe.I was not amused to say the least.I went back and told him the car was missing the catalytic converter……this was about 15-20 minutes from the time I had picked the car.He then started telling me how I miss understood needless to say at this point I was fighting to stay calm as he went on to tell me how it’s only worth $60 which is nonsense.I Asked for the catalytic converter he gave it to me and I left. It’s still sitting in the car.Picture of the $291 pipe wow.First and last time for me.
