I always bring my bernies mountain dog Odin in, as an absolute disaster!!! They always make it all better!!! Just got him back today and he's beautiful!!! Thanks guys ❤️. Port Moody location is the best. I DO NOT recommend Port Coquitlam unfortunately.

Our schnauzer has been here for grooming several times. I always ask what the price will be when making the appointment and was told it would be $115 based on previous visits. Upon picking him up I was charged $130 and was told the extra $15 is a “supply fee” for the shampoo etc that came into effect in the last 6 months. Why not tell me the full price when I asked before grooming my dog? Seems like they are trying to slide in extra fees without telling customers. My dog seemed happy and the grooming was nice but honesty about the pricing would be appreciated.

PLEASE DON’T TAKE YOUR PUPPIEW FOR GROOMING HERE!!!!!I do not usually write reviews, but because it is a review for dog owners to read, I felt they need to know this.I took my pomeranian puppy to this center on April 20th. The name on my file is Reza. I asked for Trimming. I left my puppy there. I received a call later the day and the lady (Sarah) who was doing the haircut told me that my puppy is ready for pick up. She also mentioned that don’t be surprised when you see your puppy. I thought that the haircut was perfect and that’s why she said such a thing. When I arrived there I was extremely shocked. My puppy was completely shaved. They shaved my dog down to the skin. He came out looking strange. I disapprove and don't recommend. I have never ever seen a pomeranian shaved. Not a single hair was left. I was really upset. I tried to follow up with them but they were never resposnsive. After visiting several veternitary clinics at my own expense, my puppy was diagnosed with Allopecia X. I was also told that there’s a %50 chance that my puppy heals completely. I never expected this. I've never been treated so rudely and insulted by staff. What has happened for me was too serious to be neglected. To top it off, the business asked us not to bring our dog back for anymore haircuts because it is too difficult for them.I tried to follow up this issue again through email with the store manager (Shannon) and I was told that this problem should be adressed with the groomer and she is not resposible for it. Her justification was that Sarah ( the lady who did the haircut) is a contracted groomer. Is this convincing enough? My puppy was diagnosed with a serious health problem and the manager did not take a single step to address it. I didn’t expect anything but a good manner especially when this has happened. I never received a single call from them although I told them what has happened to my puppy. I also attached the before and after picture of my puppy.

A little disappointed with the fees. I understand that everything is going up in the world , but when we started bringing our small dog 3 years ago it was around 45-50$ .. I got a trim and nails on my dog done last week it was 84$. When asking why the big jump I was just told it is what it is. My other dog gets groomed there and it's the same price for a full shave. Very sad that it's got so expensive and unfortunately we will have to find another spot.

Usually don’t write reviews , however very disappointed with the daycare services here after being referred here. If you cannot host an 8 month old Golden Doodle after he has been in your daycare 3 times due to him barking and not wanting to be around other dogs, perhaps take into consideration that he is new to this process, we took the recommendation from your staff to ease him by bringing him in slowly, and yes he is still a puppy that is used of being home with humans . He is learning, no problems up until today, I get a phone call to pick him up because he is barking and won’t interact with the other dogs. My daughter goes to pick him up and was told rudely he was being mouthy to the staff ? Like WTH? a dog can get mouthy ? And we can’t bring him there anymore ? I am disappointed with the staff and the way they communicated with my daughter. Why have a doggy daycare if you are calling owners because their dog who is new to this process is barking and not playing with other dogs? please train your staff to be precise on what the issues are and to take a professional tone when communicating.

This is not a 1-star review because I was happy with the work they did. After providing details about my dog, I was told to expect a range of $50-70 for the service. When I picked her up the bill was just under $100.I understand they cannot give you an exact price, but that’s the whole point of a RANGE. I consented to $70 at the high end; I did NOT consent to pay nearly double. If something unexpected came up, shouldn’t you give me a call first? Or maybe state in advance that the range is $50-100?Please be more respectful of people’s budgets, especially in these times.

I love this place! They take such good care of Cali. She always comes home happy and smelling great. Last time she was here she wasn't feeling well and they took care of everything and sent me updates. I feel so comforted knowing the quality of care she receives. <3

Service is excellent. Groomers do a hell of a job. I've been dealing with them for years. Thanks.

We were impressed when we called Uptown Dawg and they were very friendly when they answered the phone and said that we were able to bring our dog in right away to have his nails cut. The store was very well laid out and the staff were very friendly. His nails looked great when they brought him back to us. They even gave him a treat. We will definitely be back.

We came for just nail trim and left beautiful and happy (dog was beautiful and I'm happy LOL). It was her 2nd nail trim she was a bit nervous but the groomer handled her absolutely amazing. While waiting I was stuck in an isle with treats, tough choice LOL and also found our new favorite waterproof collar and leash set for a very decent price.

I started taking my dog homer here and I have no regrets! He has slight separation anxiety and always has to have an eye on me at all times except for when we go here. He starts whining in the car when we pull in and runs straight to the door and doesn't look back.. it's so sweet to know how happy he is when we arrive. The staff are so friendly and the building is very clean!

I do not usually write reviews, but because it is a review for dog owners to read, I felt the need to write something.I had a very unpleasant encounter with Angela who is apparently the manager of Uptown Dawg on August 17th. The daycare allowed my dog to attend a full "working dog" day, but when I arrived to pick my dog up, Angela greeted me with a VERY snarky attitude. She told me I ruined my dogs daycare experience because I left him for a full day and I should have called in advance to inquire if I could do so (which I did). When I mentioned that I called, she threw her hands in the air and said "well nobody knows who he is, I don't even know who he is". She talked over me, did not let me get a word in or finish my sentence, she was very stern and very unpleasant to speak to. I have many friends with dogs who have tried to divert me from that daycare, but it was on my way to work and I thought it would be convenient, so I gave the place the benefit of the doubt. To be told that I ruined my dogs experience because of their mistake of allowing my dog to attend a full day is solely on the hands of the uneducated staff that run that place. The manager Angela ruined MY experience and my dogs experience.PLEASE stay away from this daycare. The owner is an absolute nightmare to prior employees (who I am quite acquainted with) and the manager was horrific. Go to LeashLoft or inquire about Embark Dog Adventures.I will never return to Uptown for daycare or treats.
