Im a long standing RBC customer I’ve almost 30 years.I’m new to this branch since 2 yrs ago .Had the most horrible and disrespectful service by 2 customer care reps yesterday .I almost felt like they were racially profiling me …Trying to make me feel like an imposter and doubting me about a transaction I made . Had to pull it up on my phone to prove the balance in my account which did not show up on the teller’s screen .I told them what excellent service I had at my previous branch in Chilliwack and did appreciate the shabby services at Qualicum branch .It was recommended by the teller that I book an appointment with a senior rep to “ establish “ a relationship.The appointment was made with a “ financial advisor “ and is 10 days away for an hr long appointment.I was asked to bring all my financial information from all other institutions and financial advisors at the appointment.I left RBC and walked over to Coast Capital Credit Union to move all my accounts.They don’t deserve me as a customer.

Someone managed to steal my mail and deposit a cheque in my name into this banks atm and take cash and then closed their account and bank refused to give me my money claiming it was a post dated cheque.

Danielle, Heather, and Sandy are awesome! ive never had a problem with the staff here. Rbc qualicum is a good bank and doesn't normally have huge terrible line ups. 11/10

Heavy sighs, obsequious 'help'; creating objections to getting the task done; making a customer jump through intentionally created hurdles: very disappointing experience. If you don't know how to do the requested job, just pass me on up to someone who does. Don't make it my fault.

Wonderful service until I had a problem with my mortgage renewal. It did get straightened out but, there was no apology for making me come in two times to sign the mortgage renewal or that there was a problem on their end. The original renewal never got processed. And I was treated like it was my fault. I had to be assertive and let the bank know I wanted the new mortgage renewal to have the same rate as the first renewal. I had to argue to get that. Then, they gave it to me but, did not adjust the weekly payment amount. I was told that it was only about 75 cents difference weekly. Since when does the payment not have to match the interest rate? They did adjust it so the payment amount matches the interest rate but, they gave me an attitude about it.

Very approachable and friendly staff, especially Moriah. They never tried upselling products when in personal appointments and tried to give me the best products and advice possible. Exactly what banking should be.
