Visited end of Feb, snow was shite, but you can't blame the mountain, just bad luck. Great terrain, great food.

Had a great time ? different types of terrain this place has to offer. Destination to get here is not as easy compared to other mtns, but lesser crowds. Another typical expensive large resort. But I'd reconsider sunpeaks, apex, revelstoke, bigwhite, whitefish, or even pano as better options. However, red has that old school vibe that really stood out. I luv that part the best, don't get fancy red ? I'll come back.

Loved it! We stayed at the Josie which were the best accommodations I have ever had! When we woke up from the best nights sleep after a delicious dinner and trip to the cedar sauna, we checked out our skis from the concierge and literally walked out side and onto the slopes. Fantastic snow and so much exploring! Definitely worth the 2 hours drive from Washington for us!!!

Solid mtn. Chairlifts are old skool so bring a book. Mtn has a mix of easy and challenging terrain. It's bigger than it looks. I had a good time. Rossland is a small but very cool, low key ski town. Never crazy with crowds and parking is a breeze. Great views, food options, and a brewery too, along with a hostel.

We loved our experience on Red Mountain - expansive terrain, beautiful mountains and fewer crowds than what I have seen at any ski resort. The Josie hotel is top notch as is their restaurant and concierge service. I recommend checking out Rafters for apres ski fun and heading into Rossland for a great brewery and delicious restaurants. We’ll certainly be back.

RED has all the mom and pop vibes you could want in a ski area. They have been adding to the base area infrastructure the past couple years to create a more resort like experience. The mountain is Huge! You couldn’t ask for more terrain and uncrowded slopes. They do a nice job grooming the more beginner terrain. The tree skiing is awesome on a powder day. The views are spectacular. There are no high speed quads but that adds to the nostalgia of the place. It is one of BCs best kept secrets in my opinion. Be sure to hit up Rafters Bar for No Shower Happy Hour. All the staff are friendly and helpful. They have mountain hosts at 9:00 and 12:30 at the base area to show you around the slopes if you like. The parking area can fill up quick on a powder day but, they have a shuttle from town. This place is RAD.

Despite warm Spring weather, this was an amazing mountain. Lots of terrain, incredible views, and friendly vibe. We can't wait to go again with powder! This was our first visit and chose to ski with a mountain host to get to know the mountain better. BEST DECISION ever! Shout out to Peter, Dave, and especially Mike for showing us the mountain and taking us places we would have otherwise missed.Foodwise, we enjoyed a delicious classic smoky at Paradise Lodge and great tacos at Flying Phil's at the Topping Creek Lift.We found the guest services to be friendly and helpful as well.
