Placed an order online, package never showed… turns out address was incorrect, after contacting Best Buy about this issue they refused to change the address to the correct one. Still no package and no refund, very frustrating.

I've always had difficulties shopping for tech. Enter: Abigail. She was knowledgeable and helpful, and being a student herself, she understood exactly what I needed! She was kind and helpful, and did not make me feel pressured at all. Making such a large purchase (a laptop) is anxiety inducing and stressful, but she made my experience much better. She assured me I could get money back if the price drops, and was generally fantastic. There needs to be more women working in these spaces, Abigail did such a great job and was not condescending my lack of computer knowledge. Best Buy management, give her a raise, she deserves it!

I was in today to upgrade my phone and had EXCELLENT care from Jacob! He was incredibly knowledgable, efficient, friendly, and kind. Not only was he great to deal with, he was also able to give his team members assistance with their questions regarding helping other customers at the same time. Multi tasking at its best! He's clearly a very valuable team member and I hope he knows it!

With regret, I went in to buy a laptop for my daughter. The sales person convinced me to buy a different product than the one I had wanted. Yes, it was more expensive, but was promised to be much faster and better for my daughter's use and needs. Once I got it home, it was the slowest laptop I've ever logged on to. I spent a couple of weeks trying to clean it up, install virus protection, uninstall useless apps etc to see if I could speed it up. Then I waited a little longer to see if it was "good enough" for my daughter's needs. It wasn't!I ended up phoning about a return and was sent in circles between departments and waiting on looooong holds and promises of call backs which never came for weeks. To this day, I still have not been able to talk to someone at the actual store. I still haven't returned the laptop and it is well past the return policy date. I couldn't phone the local store without going through central phone centres and my daughter has been using a laptop that continually crashes, freezes, and lags horribly.I understand that it is ultimately my fault for not buying the laptop I had originally wanted, but it's also very difficult not to feel scammed into buying a more expensive one they were simply trying to push out the door. I am now needing to buy a new laptop (not from Best Buy) just to have something usable.For a large "reputable" company, it is very disappointing. I highly encourage anyone needing a laptop to search elsewhere, maybe somewhere smaller with a more personal customer service.

Lots of options, pretty store, lots of staff wondering around.Looking to buy a high end gaming laptop, browsed through there selection waiting to be helped by the staff that were busy talking to eachother for about 15 minutes, just before I was about to leave I was actually helped by someone, he was new and couldnt answer my questions but thats okay he got another staff member to answer, he did answer but made it obvious he couldnt wait to get away and keep chatting with the other staff so I saved my questions and will drop a few grand at another store that actually bothered to give service in a friendly manner.I mean its your store and staff and thats fine, but when someone essentially walks in just waiting to hand over $3000 for a product and gets shrugged off by the not busy staff, it may be time for some basic sales training.

I stood in the store in front of the Bose ear buds for about 30 min, and I was not the only one probably 6 others standing with me. We very obviously wanted to buy. A tall thin man who was working the department was mostly just walking around pretending to look busy. I decided that instead I was going to order online while in the store and set to pick up since no one wants to help. I was looking at the display case I know there were about 10-15 boxes in there. I go home and wait for my pick up order. The next morning, so now, it says order canceled due to low stock. Why? I know they are there.

I tried to buy an item that was marked down, only to be told by the associate at the checkout he wouldn't be able to sell it to me for that price because it was probably put back in the wrong place. He said he was sorry, but it happens all the time. I understand mistakes, but I the item matched the label on the shelf. He didn't even go check the sale price or tell his coworkerwho showed up to go fix the wrong label, just said what was in his system was the price. Really disappointed with Best Buy on this one. Follow through on your marked prices. If it was put back in the wrong place I'd be more understanding, but I have a picture of the item and the label and they match.

Best Buy is a nightmare to purchase appliances from.Their delivery team used power tools to install a fridge door and they stripped a screw in the bottom door hinge so it could not be removed. Trying to get a simple screw and plastic door stoppper delivered was hell on earth. I spent 1 hour and 20 minutes on the phone with a passive aggressive customer service rep trying to identify if I was the problem. Once he finally got up to speed and realized Best Buy was at fault, he informed me he would escalate things and I would receive quick service. Following a detailed discussion about the 2 specific parts I needed, he sent the delivery team back to my house with no parts and no instructions on what they were doing there. They cluelessly left saying they would report this incident and clearly reported nothing. I also never received the call I was supposed to get to notify me of the window of their arrival. I called Best Buy back and the CSR agent then tells me there is basically nothing that can be done for my new $1,100 fridge purchase and I should call Frigidaire. So I do, and another small nightmare ensures. This is company disgusts me with how they do business. They do not and will not care if you are left on the hook following a major purchase. Pay more, go elsewhere. Protect yourself.

I try to buy an apple 14 pro case here. However, the staff didn't seem to care about the customer's feelings, they seemed to be doing their own thing, until I asked them. When I inquired about the Gear Gear4 Crystal Palace D3O Fitted Soft Shell Case that I wanted. The first staff member simply helped me find it and went to work on his own affairs. The second staff member said: All our products are on the shelves. If it is not on the shelves, he suggests me go to bestbuy mobile(Mayfair store) to buy them. and walked away without any concern. But I still bought another brand apple phone case and tempered glass at Bestbuy. But the staff member who put the film on me seemed very impatient to help me put the film on, and even gave his bro high fives when he was at work. I'm not sure if this is a professional business work place, or a playground? These staff are no organization and discipline.

Now just a showroom with good staff, but it is best (to) buy elsewhere as you cannot return items under a manufacturer’s warranty, unless you pay Best Buy, at time of purchase, for their own warranty. Other stores are therefore cheaper by the cost of this Best Buy warranty fee. For example, Apple products can be fixed by London Drugs or Simply Computing, or be returned to Costco, but Best Buy will not handle warranty claims, unless you pay. Not a “Best Buy” policyBut yes the store is well laid out with helpful knowledgeable staff. Note that some staff is employed directly by manufacturers, not by Best Buy.

Ordered a fridge a week ago, we choose the delivery date on a Saturday for convenience of our work schedule. The day of delivery they sent us a text saying delivery date is Wednesday without even calling us. Service is really bad, did not even call us earlier or check if anyone was home on Wednesday, we had to call them back to change the date! We were lucky enough that we didn’t give our old fridge away or the food would of went bad. They need better service!

Had issues with a Bose headphone I bought for $600 CAD. Best Buy didn’t have the item in stock and I chose a cheaper variant, but initially Best Buy wouldn’t give me a refund, dreaded (Store credit option was flipped up) this is a classic strategy to tie a customer down. I don’t make purchases too often and it’s something that’s not fair when the purchased item was faulty. Upon asking for the manager, Jasbir was summoned. He was patient, listened to me with the true intentions to solve the issue.suggested options, but I would have had to wait. Went out of his way to help me and get the matter resolved. He was professional, courteous, and came across as a person who wanted to help! A true leader and customer service champion! Restored my faith in retail and human counter parts. Well done Jasbir and Best Buy to hire such talent, hope this gets passed on and the manager gets credit for his on the spot decision making and problem solving abilities.True ***GOAT*** in my books!

Not recommended if you are looking for apple products. I felt it is expensive than in the USAEdited after Best buy's response (3rd May 2023) : I was looking for Apple Watch Series 8 ultra and there were two problems 1) Stock wasn't available 2) The quote for buy back for my Series 7 (45mm) Apple watch with good condition is 100CAD !.. Which is much lower than what apple stores buy back is.. 3) I went there with my colleague who was looking for 512GB Apple 14 pro Max. and the color what he was looking for wasn't available. These are the reasons why I said its not a place for buying apple products !

Came in to a young employee sitting on the counter at the top of the escalator and chatting, two guys tossing a ball back and forth in electronics, and a girl on her phone behind the till who had to be prompted by another guy to look up from her phone and serve us as we waited in line. The girl then ultimately sold us the wrong product with zero customer service skills that we now need to return to the store to exchange, which could have been avoided had she helped us at all. The only help we got was when I interrupted a game of ball toss twice to ask where things were, despite the fact that we were very obviously looking around for a specific product next to them. I feel like the store could really benefit from having an adult or two around.
