“We walked to the store that was on the corner. They had everything from comic books to records to sign jerseys even assigned gear from the karate kid..
We ended up spending a little time there and prices were not bad. They even had Funko Pops here and a bit of everything. Kids had a great time. I would come again”
“Always a fantastic experience, friendly knowledgeable staff, great deals and great conversations. Hang on to your wallets tight, always very easy to go over budget at yellow jacket but the prices and the card availability is virtually unmatched in victoria.

“What a wonderful store - not just junky beads that you are left to figure out by yourself (I went to 2 of those) but staffed by thoughtful people who offered to help. The beads and stones were real - they knew what each kind was. I wanted something specific and they really dug into their stock not only to find what I wanted but to offer advice on the assembly (which they did for me - I had a 2 hour timeline). I'll visit again next time I'm there. Genuinely nice knowledgeable people.”

“This is such a great location, with such a friendly and helpful staff! My boyfriend and I mentioned to an employee that we’ve been struggling with fully understanding the rules through the texts and he said that we were welcome to book a night to play and ask for help if we need it, and also told us about a bunch of events coming up for painting, Kill Team and 40k. We’ve had quite a few interactions with him (I wish I knew his name!) and he has always been really fun and informative, and never has made us feel intimidated or pressured, which we’ve definitely experienced at some hobby shops in the past. This is a great GW whether you’re a long time player or new enthusiast, five stars!”

“This is a beautiful place to stop while in the Oak Bay neighbourhood. There is a wide selection of toys for every child. The toys are interesting, unique, and some are even educational. There is a life-size playmobil statue in the store which is a wonderful feature. There where affordable, adorable stuffed animals, outdoor toys, and classic toys that most adults would recognize from their childhoods'. They had a great accessory selection, which included included elegant tiaras. This store has toys for children of all ages, and the staff was friendly and helpful.”

“Such a fun night!Our group was adults and kids- and we played pool and pinball! The staff were really friendly, we enjoyed the busy & fun atmosphere, and everyone had a great time.Go early, or plan that you might be on a wait list on Friday and Saturday nights.There’s an alcohol free area, and it’s an “all ages” place.
Kid-friendliness: We phoned ahead, and they said they were all ages! We went early, from about 6-7. There is ping-pong, billiards, and pinball!”

“Wow. Never anything but great experiences at Michaels Uptown. Made a few visits recently to have an image taken off of my phone and sized to fit a frame. Then came back and had a mat cut for an existing photo and frame set. I was helped by two young people, Jack and Carson, and they could not have been better. I now have two new great prints mounted on my feature wall. They've been getting rave reviews and the cost was a mere pittance. Thanks again and keep up the good work!”
