Seafirst's insurance services leave much to be desired. I've endured several frustrating experiences with this company, and it's finally time to share these. Unless you have the simplest insurance needs, I strongly advise against using Seafirst. It seems their capabilities are limited to the most basic services, and even then, you're likely to encounter issues.I reside nearby and often require insurance for various vehicles, including off-road, new registrations, or Temporary Operating Permits (TOPs). On each visit, I've been met with agents who seem clueless or unable to assist. For instance, today I sought a TOP for an imported car, but the agent claimed she couldn't proceed without a vehicle payment receipt. I provided all necessary documentation, including the export certificate and B3, AND invoice, but she remained uncooperative.Frustrated, I drove 25-minutes to Sussex Insurance and had my TOP inside of 10 minutes after producing the same paperwork. Seafirst's inadequate staff training and inconsistent policies make it a subpar choice. It's frustrating to receive conflicting information from agents under the same corporation (ICBC). Seafirst must make significant improvements to serve its customers better.
