“I recently downsized from a 3 bedroom house to a smaller townhome, both in Sidney, with 2 days of storage in between. I was very pleased with the service from Sweenie/ Greaves Moving. A special shout out to Shelley and Cole who did such a great job with the packing. It was really impressive to watch the 3 men do the heavy lifting into and out of the truck, up a flight of stairs and around corners in tight spaces! They are real professionals who worked so quickly and efficiently as a team with years of experience. Nothing broken, nothing lost, no bumps on the walls!
I chose Sweenie/Greaves largely due to the clear, reasonable, written estimate, but was alarmed and disappointed when another rep closer to my date revised the quote to almost double the original amount, mainly based on inflated hours. In the end, the hours charged were accurate, the invoice was closer to the original quote and it seemed reasonable enough. I would advise people to make notes of the hours worked and check the invoice details carefully if it differs from the quote.”
