Big shout out to the garage staff! They went above and beyond helping us ease our mind when we had a sensor failure on our way home from a camping trip. Without any formalities they checked our tire pressure and identified the problem within minutes. And as they were currently training new staff they even did it for free!
We’re more than impressed by the friendliness, support and generosity in our case. I hope they get the appreciation they deserve.

The staff are nice and friendly, great attitude. However they serviced an oil change and mentioned a ton of issues that should be addressed about my work truck. Considering that it’s front end components that impact stirring and safety, it shouldn’t take over a week to receive a quote… anyway I don’t think I’ll be using them for further servicing since they forgot to check that I have 2 light bulbs that need replacing :/

They gave me an accurate quote and showed me the issue prior to work being done. I will return.

*UPDATE*
Two emails have been sent to the email address below provided by Fountain Tire's customer service/ feedback department. I still have not been contacted in regards to our ongoing issue even though they reached out to me for more details. We are still waiting for some accountabilty or compenastion for the damage done to our vehicle (which has still not been fixed).
We had great service in the past, but will never be back after what has happened recently with our vehicle. We brought our vehicle in to have the winters tires taken off the rims and the summers put on. We have had zero issues with the winter tires holding air over the winter. Fountain tire changed out the tires and we went on our way. By the time we got home the tires was very low. Pumped it up. Went low again. I drove back to Fountain tire (went low again and had them pump it up) and said it had gone flat 3 times and it had been less than a day since we had gotten the tires changed. They didn't have time to look at it, so I went home (went low again) and we took the wheel off. There was a HUGE gouge on the top of the inside of the rim and the tire isn't sealing. Obviously, it wasn't like this prior to dropping it off or we would have had flats over the winter. When we went back to show them, they weren't helpful at all and would take zero accountability for the damage. They said we MUST have hit a pothole. I'm sorry, I would have noticed a pothole big enough to do that amount of damage on the inside! We spoke to multiple employees both in person and on the phone and were given nothing but excuses. No help, refusal to fix the proplem. I am aboslutely blown away at how we were treated. They had every opportunity to make it right, instead they have lost loyal customers. It's really dissapointing to pay money for a service and have your property come back damaged at your expense.

Brought our truck in because it was shaking in the front was told it probably needed the tires balanced. I explained we did not want to repair by proccess of elimination. The guy said he balanced the tires charged us $78 we drove away and the front end was still shaking. We took it to Jacobson Ford only to be told the tires had a factory defect and they couldn't be balanced be cause the 2 front tires had bulges. We have always gone to Fountain Tire in Chilliwack and now in Salmon Arm but we will never go back, what an absolute joke this is a tire shop how could they not know the tires had bulges. We were ripped off.

Set up a date over the phone to get my tires changed over, a stud replaced and an alignment. Was all good over the phone but then the date came and i went in and i also asked if they could put the new lug nuts on that i had in my centre console, they told me they probably wouldnt have time to put the new stud which as i said what apart of what i set the appointment up for and when i go to leave they didnt do an alignment, didnt put the new stud in and didnt put my new lug nuts on. Tires look and drive good but i got 1 of the 4 things i wanted done. I guess they dont need the business that bad. Hard to find any mechanic shop that will treat you like you know what youre talking about. *update* walking on my driveway after coming home i found a brand new tire weight on the ground👍🏼 *update #2* they told me at 100k come back to retorque my lug nuts and at 25k i had to pull over and tighten them myself because 6 out of 20 were so loose i could unthread them by hand and i got half a turn out of another 4. They replied to the review asking me to email them so i did on thursday and no response and then they deleted the reply to this review.

Just finished listening to a long, detailed recap from my dad about the service he received in April at Fountain Tire. He drives a hot rod, which means finding parts is never straightforward. You can’t just type in the make and model. He’s dealt with a lot of people over the years who don’t think beyond the manual, so he walked in expecting the usual frustration.
Instead, he was completely impressed by the woman working behind the counter. She immediately understood that it wasn’t going to be a standard parts lookup, asked the right questions, and clearly knew what she was doing. According to him, she was sharp, knowledgeable, and didn’t waste time.
He doesn’t remember her name, only that she used to live in the Lower Mainland, but he went on about it for a while. I told him to write a Google review, but he doesn’t know how, so… here we are.
Thanks, “woman behind the counter,” for being so good at your job that I had to hear about it in great detail. Truly above and beyond.

The staff at the Fountain Tire in Salmon Arm, B.C. were very welcoming and accommodating after I experienced a flat tire during my drive from Vancouver to Calgary. They got me in right away, helped me find a solution to my problem and rotated my tires to ensure that my new tire was best positioned for traction and wear during the remainder of my trip. They even ensure my dog had water and treats while I waiting for my truck to be serviced. They really went above and beyond and I’m grateful for their help. I would definitely recommended this location to anyone in the area and this experience will have me considering Fountain Tire for servicing and tire purchases in the future. Thank you!

Booked in for a tire changeover during the busy season. 3 week wait. On appointment arrival, I was told one of my four winters was a bald all-season and was refused service unless I purchased a new tire.
After returning home, frustrated, I checked the tires. All four tires were the exact same make, model and wear- GT Radial IcePro3 in my size, purchased new the prior winter.
Shoutout to Kal Tire in Enderby for booking me on short notice, and confirming I did in-fact have the right tires.
I'd rather not be taken advantage of, and be lied to. If the staff overbooked, I'd rather be told that instead.

November 2024 by question mark
Refused to switch our summer tires to the winter tires a few days ago. The workers said they were behind in schedule but Im still entitled to my appointment. When it was my turn to get my tires swapped, the workers lied and said I had 3 winters and 1 all season...
I got opinions at different tire shops and I have all 4 winters. So the workers lied to avoid working, to avoid doing their job.
I do not recommend going to this place. I almost spent an extra 100+ dollars trying to find a new tire only to realize that they lied.

Awesome job, in and out with a 8 Tire winter swap over. Just around the 2 hr mark, quicker than most for this sorta thing.

recently went to this location for oil changes on two vehicles and a day later the check engine light came on on our Saturn due. Talked with Kristi and while she did say probably a coincidence, she was able to squeeze us in the next day. after the Tech did a scan on the systems and went further to confirm if the part that showed up as defective really was ( it may not be ), they determined it really was a coincidence and gave us a discount on the diagnostic and a very fair quote to do the repair. He cleared the code and suggested we monitor and decide if we want to go ahead with the repairs. Excellent treatment by Kristi, Steve and his crew. Thanks for having patience with us and clearly explaining what you found and how you found it.
