About Harbour House Hotel
Harbour House Hotel is a modern, beautifully renovated property in a peaceful location right along the water in Ganges on Salt Spring Island. It is perfectly located to walk into town and is near the harbour but remains very quiet. The facility is clean and new, with rooms described as spacious, spotless, well-appointed, and comfortable, many offering a spectacular view. Beds are incredibly comfortable, and rooms include thoughtful touches like a Nespresso machine, a complimentary robe, and a balcony. The entire team is friendly, attentive, welcoming, and accommodating. Staff are celebrated for their kindness, understanding, and helpfulness, especially when handling booking issues. Little touches make the stay feel special, including a welcome gift of a water bottle and goodies at check-in and refreshing fruit-infused water at reception. The hotel's restaurant, Woodley’s, has a warm, welcoming vibe with music and a patio considered one of the best on the island, and the weekend breakfast buffet offers a nice variety. Some critical notes mention that the pillows have no support, the hallway deodorizer can be unpleasant, and room doors can slam loudly. A rare comment also noted an instance where a floor needed a more thorough clean. Despite these points, the overwhelming recommendation is highly positive, with guests loving their stay and eagerly planning to return.
It was a last minute decision to visit salt spring Island, so the hotel was the only option available, and the prices reflected the low inventory. We definitely paid too much, but the hotel was clean and quiet.

Perfectly located between the ferry and Ganges, this hotel lovely. Everything is clean and beautiful, and the staff was so friendly even with us checking in at 10:30pm. The room was spacious with a gorgeous vaulted ceiling and a view of the Harbour. Will absolutely stay again!

Lovely, clean hotel. Great views of the water from the front of the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Only a 10 minute walk from most shops and restaurants.
