Large grassy field great for tossing a frisbee, football or kicking a soccer ball, a handful of picnic tables... large trees provide shade if you desire, safe swimming area roped off from motor boats, outhouses and change rooms.Busy at times but not crazy like how the government doc can be. And it's a dog friendly zoneRequires a short walk from parking lot so a wagon is helpful if you have quite a bit of stuff and heavy coolers etc. And beach is almost none existing. Only a few feet of pebble sand from the grass and then the water. So don't plan on coming to sit on the sand.

Beautiful day use area. Large parking lot. Lots of shade. Big green space for running around and having a picnic. 2 picnic tables. Not much of a beach. It’s grass that leads up to swimming area. Looked like a great place to swim.

It's a nice wide open grassy space with a Sandy pebbly Beach that drops off from shallote to deep rather quickly.Picnic area: Wide spacious lawn with some evidence of geese.

Grassy area is dog friendly but not the beach (according to the signs). There were a couple dogs in the water, but I suspect the park staff may put a stop to that. Nice spot otherwise, lots of parking on Sunday of August long weekend 2023.Dog-friendliness: Welcome in the park but not the beach.

Rather small park with lake access (mostly grass with a little bit of gravel/sand by the water) and a small car park.It seems fairly convenient for locals and we were hoping to do some paddle boarding here, as we were staying nearby, but the lake is fairly uninteresting. It is surrounded by private properties and there were plenty of noisy boats and jet skis that put us off from coming back here. The park is not the worst place to visit, if you don't wanna drive far to enjoy nature, but there are plenty of nice parks within 20-50min drive.

Simple but beautiful park by the very small beach. Swim area is very easy to access and the trees are tall and majestic.Dog-friendliness: Dogs must be picked up after and are not allowed on the beach.
