Wow. Very small towing company, run by Big John and his brother. They have a few big wreckers, but not too many. Recommend overall.

At first I thought that they bought themselves a dirty cop but it seems that the entire town is in on this scam.
Cop impounds your vehicle for excessive speeding for 7 days, a cab comes and charges you a ton of money for a ride to the only car rental agency in town where you now have to rent one of their clunkers for 5-600% the going rate, then these guys show up to tow it and impound it for the said 7 days;
but will only release it at the end of the 8th day which can't happen because they're closed, (apparently the first day doesn't count) and then they charge you for 9 days a minute after they open up.
I actually disputed the violation, went to court, and had video evidence contradicting the cop, but the judge sided with the dirty cop, who apparently can visually estimate the vehicle's speed with better accuracy. The magic number seems to be 150km/hr on a 90 zone.
And it's quite the racket, they target out of province vehicles, I'm reading about it all over the forums and there's a review on Google from "L" who has a similar story.
I also read the owner's reply - "well, you broke the law by driving with more than 40km/hr over the posted speed limit".
Well, I didn't. And, I had video evidence, and even so, the judge sided with the dirty cop who visually estimated my speed at 150km/hr. But sure, blame the badgepoint robbery victims.
Just like in 3rd world countries where rape victims are blamed for being too pretty or wearing clothes that are too revealing, which asked to be raped.
Shame on you, and your business ethics, you - Columbia Towing, Selkirk Car Rental and the local RCMP are all in this racket, no idea if they're doing it for bribes or to keep your town from dying as it should.
And, stop lying that you have the towing contract and you're just doing your job, and victim blaming;
As we were dropping off our rental clunker at Selkirk and talking to another victim of your racket(a guy from Montreal who also did 150km/hr in a 90 zone - surprise, surprise), who was dropped off by the same cab?! (Covid19 so the tow truck doesn't take passengers - pie just got a little bigger), we saw your tow truck and your driver coming into Selkirk Car Rental.
That must've been a conversation that you had to have in person without the risk of being listened to.
Because everything legal like renting a car or arranging a tow/boost could've been arranged over the phone or booked online.. it doesn't take a genius to figure it out.
I just didn't knew it until I went to court why you would be so obvious and arrogant about it.
Congratulations to the Town of Revelstoke, on legalizing Highway Robbery!

Had placed a call in the AM for a tow. Went home around 6pm from work and did not get a call back till next day. Sad, they used to be so quick.

What a complete gong show operation. Called a day before picking up vehicle to ensure someone at site. Spoke with owner John as well as receptionist in Revelstoke. They said they would arrange for tow truck driver to be at site if he didn’t have a tow. Unfortunately this is not at all how they do business. They lied that morning and said he was out on a tow at 845 am the day of pick up. Funny ? the driver was having coffee with his buddy. The tow truck driver in Sicamous was phenomenal and looked after getting us out and on the road professionally BUT the owner/operator staff do not know anything about client service. SHAME. I called owner to discuss and he hung up on me ?. Good thing they don’t have any competition or they wouldn’t be in business. Told they didn’t open till 9 am. Clearly need to change the hours on their fence or update - as it clearly shows 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. SHAME

Wow, an ICBC storage facility with nobody there to pick up a vehicle. My tow company phoned when they left Chilliwack to go pickup a motorcycle from there, then phoned again 100km away....only to arrive and be told no one there for two hours. Two hours later get told another hour. Phone to see what's up, treated EXTREMELY rudely. Don't deal with these people. Also we rushed up there today because we were told we couldn't pick up over the long weekend but would still be charged storage for all three days. SO unprofessional.

We called for a tow truck. We were told it would be about 40 minutes. An hour later I called back and was told they have been unable to reach their driver...
