Cory (automotive department) was amazing! He fit us in with our campervan and had us back on our road trip by the end of the day. He was a wealth of knowledge and was very friendly. We also got to meet his adorable dog. Thank you, Cory and team!

My fiancee had her car scheduled for 10 am to have an alignment done. She dropped car off just before 10 the car was there all day she called at 4:50 pm and the car was not done. She went to get the car and the tech was rude told her it needed parts before they could work on it and they still charged her a fee 80 dollars to not do any work on the car. They performed zero services, and tried telling her it was the left side then the right side confusing their own story as they told it. They never bothered to pickup phone and call her to tell her any of this throughout the day even though her number was left. They didn't do an alignment readout even on the car never even put alignment heads on or did steering sweep to check initial readings of caster and toe. Honestly it isn't a top notch place didn't expect perfect but thought they would at least get a readout on car and see how far off it was, and recently steering wheel and set toe as close to spec as they can yes it could move slightly do to old rubber bushing on lower control arm but it is snug even if cracked if worn parts allow for a plus or minus tolerance of 0.1 degrees and it was off by .25 degrees worst case scenario they still would have made it better by .15 degrees by setting to spec. This kinda gotta have the best and perfect stuff to do The job isn't saftey concerned it's lazy techs Friday afternoon saying I don't want to do it. Tell them it's gotta have all new parts. If they don't want the business and dint want the work fine just say we are uncomfortable doing it or don't have the time but don't charge $80 to do nothing and say yep insee cracks on rubber bushing and might have jacked it up and put a pry bar under tire and said yep one ball joint has just enough play to feel it starting to get worn. Can't do it.
Just lazy, and irresponsible to not call customer, talk rude to her when she goes to get car and charge her even though you did no work. Suspension diagnostic charge to glance at it but not even get a readout on alignment machine....thats lazy. If your charging a diagnostic fee ou better be diagnosing and that includes giving alignment readout showing out of spec. Not just visual inspection fast and saying sell them everything that's even slightly questionable and then we will do the work go park it outside and screw the next customer. Do proper work and diagnosis or do not charge for it saying alignment could not be done even though it was not attempted.

Rolled into town on Sunday. I had had a blowout about four hours before on one tire and another tire was acting funny. The tire area was closed but could see online they had four tires that would work. So I got on and scheduled an install online as well. Went to the store a little after 8 AM, they were able to squeeze me in put on all the tires and I was out within a couple of hours. I still have a 2500 mile trip ahead of me to get home. I was very very thankful and they did an excellent job, and was very fair with the pricing.

Most disappointing. Needed a lug nut, no one at parts however the service counter is less than a meter away so I went there and was ignored for 20 minutes by the service "manager" who eventually acknowledged I was standing there, but of course he couldn't help me because I had to go to parts. Eventually the parts guy showed up, but instead of helping me directly he got some high school kid to help me. I can't fault the kid, he did his best to help me, but he was obviously inexperienced and the parts guy wasn't exactly putting any effort into training the kid. Eventually the correct lug nut was found, I asked how much and was told $3 so I took four. They can't take money at parts, so the kid writes up an invoice and sends me to the tills to pay. Wait in line again while the two cashiers finish the conversation then I find out the nuts are $8 each not $3. By this point I have been here longer than a half hour so I decided getting ripped off on the price would be the cherry on the top of the misery desert that Canadian Tire in Smithers is so I pay and go. I will do my very best not to ever set foot in this store again
