We felt really lucky that we got a spot at Harmony shores. We were right on the ocean and just a minute away from all the facilities. You can tell that Brian, the host is taking excellent care of everything and most of all his guest. Bathrooms are clean and the comunity room has fridge , freezer coffeemaker, games books and much more.
As a special treat Brian offered us to sign up for a timeslot in the authentic finish sauna.
All in all a wonderful experience.

We originally planned to stay at Bere Point for two nights and then leave the island, but I’m from Finland and really wanted to experience a sauna while visiting Sointula. The visitor center recommended Harmony Shores Campsite, and what a gem it turned out to be! They have a traditional Finnish sauna complete with BIRCH BRANCHES (sauna vihta) which made it feel just like home. Needless to say, we loved it so much that we ended up staying two nights here and enjoying the sauna three times!
The campsite also offers a gas fireplace, which was such a thoughtful touch since open fires weren’t allowed due to the fire ban.
A huge thank you to Brian, a fellow Finn, who was incredibly helpful and truly the best host. We’ll definitely be back!

Honestly I don't want to review because this place is so AMAZING I want to keep it a secret.

Really liked it and decided to stay another day. There are rustic sites on the beach and larger ones (among trees and level grass) located across the road, which btw isn't very busy. It all works very well, and seems thoughtfully put together. Shared amenities include a shower, toilet, indoor dishwashing station, potable water, WiFi, and a very friendly, easy going and accommodating Brian. The herb station was an unexpected nice surprise.
If you're new to the island, this is known as the best campsite. Everything here closes around 4:30 — including all your ways to get ice, gas and food — so either bring it with you or arrive earlier!

We had an absolute blast staying at this campground! Our site was the waterfront one, so every night we were falling asleep to the soothing sound of the sea which was fantastic.
The facilities were well-kept, and Brian, the host, was nice and very helpful. Beautiful.

We came for 3 nights & stayed for 6!! Our site was right by the beach with a spectacular view! The campground host, Brian provided top notch hospitality! We will be back for sure!

Best campground I’ve ever been to! A view of the water and stunning island mountains, with potential for seeing whales (we heard them smacking the water at night from our tent!). So nice to have access to hot showers in full bathrooms which usually felt pretty clean (a little mud is inevitable) and even a place to properly wash your dishes and fill up your water bottle. If you ask, there’s a sauna they sometimes heat up too. So so worth the affordable price of $35/night. The campground keeper Brian came by our campsite on our last night after a rainy night in a tent to make sure to offer us to heat up in the sauna in the morning. It was lovely and smelled like cedar.
Campsites are right by the road but it’s not frequented much so not too much traffic :)

Beautiful and clean campground. Tent camped on a beach site and was awoken to the sound of whales. If you ask about the sauna they may fire it up for you, which is an amazing perk worth the fee of the campground in and of itself.
Most of the locals agree that it's your best option for camping on the island!

What a great place! Farm and ocean views were a perfect setting. Showers were hot and being able to do our dishes in the same area is such a great idea. Hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. Goats were entertaining and lots of grass space to play whatever you want. Thanks again , we will be back next year. Tim, Liana, Jacob and Caza

I have been going to this site since 2010. Its absolutely the best location, it has free showers, area to wash dishes and a freezer. The sites are beautiful and large and the owners are always updating and making it nicer. If your lucky enough to be there when they fire up the wood burning sauna, your in for a treat!
