“I did not stay the night in Sparwood, I arrived at 5 a.m. I had breakfast and the restaurant opened at 7 a.m. The restaurant was very clean, the washer was four very well-kept and clean. I had an omelet, with sausage and the breakfast was wonderful. The hotel restaurant is very well staffed, service was very prompt. The waitresses were polite, prompt and professional. I was not left waiting for coffee refills. I was very happy with the restaurant with booths. I have a bad back so the padded Booth is very nice, and I prefer a sit-down meal as opposed to fast food. The ambiance and decor gives you that down-home feeling of comfortable surroundings. The price was well within the current range for breakfast these days, with coffee all in for $20 bucks. Breakfast was wonderful with more than enough coffee refills, I was all done and wrapped up in 30 minutes and back on the highway. I will definitely stop here again. Very pleasant waitresses.??Walkability: The hotel is right in the downtown of Sparwood near gas, shopping, Tim's etc. A big plus for me is that they have ample parking no matter how large your RV or Rig is. There's also a bar that is part of the Hotel, for those that require refreshments at the end of a long day of driving.”
