I love visiting the BC SPCA just to play with the cats. It is encouraged as it familiarizes them with people before adoption. Most of the cats here are friendly and enjoy pets or play time.

Super unimpressed with their communication. Has caused us unnecessary stress. Make sure to get them to explain everything that is required to surrender an animal because they left us hanging for months without telling us what information we had to supply them with. Ended up having to contact West Van SPCA.

Rough! Filled out an application for a beautiful dog. Ticked yes in the box that asks if we are going on a vacation within the month. Get a call stating we have a new member to our family. I celebrate with my wife and 4 year old daughter only to hear back that they won’t keep the poor pup until we come back from our vacation out of the country. Even though he is healing from a broken leg. Why tell us he is ours or ask the vacation question if it doesn’t mean anything. Was not a fun conversation to have with my daughter. Thanks for the heart break. Procedure needs to be revised this was rugged and unfriendly.
