My rangerider canopy was purchased at the time of buying my truck. About 3 years in I observed one of the sliding windows was leaking water when it rained.
I consulted with Cap-It who was the company that installed the canopy at time of purchase. Cap-It was kind enough to examine the window and identified that the hole cut in the fibreglass was made too large which was the cause for the leaking.
I contacted Rangerider in Summerland and spoke to Laverne. After telling him about the problem he abruptly told me that there is no warranty on windows, that they will all eventually leak and it is only a matter of time.
I informed him about the hole being cut too large and his response was “yup well that’s just the way it is. Poor workmanship nowadays “.
He would not take any responsibility for the defective product.
If I could select 0 for rating this company i would. I would advise against buying any products from this company.

Range Rider doesn't believe in doing the 'right thing'. Ordered a canopy back in Dec 2022, paid in full. Kept asking month after month where the canopy was and each time got answers like, 'it'll be here next month', or 'it came in but had a bunch of rock chips on it'. After 7 months, I asked for my money back. They said they needed to sell a canopy first before we got our money back. I complained even louder and got handed over to the management and the president, but got little back from any of them. Call after call, email after email, with very few replies. Finally, in Sept 2023, the canopy was ready, but only with threats of taking them to court and filing a complaint with BBB and the province. We ended up getting an upgrade to our canopy and Canopy West in Surrey ended up adding a boat rack for our troubles. We may have gotten an upgrade, but the anguish it caused, and missing a summer of being able to carry our boats to the lake has been a huge inconvenience. Save yourself some trouble and DO NOT get a canopy from these guys.

ZERO STARS (but there is no option for 0 stars) FOR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE> These people stole my deposit of $1750.00 that I gave to them in Feb 2023 for a new canopy which I did not receive. After 6 months of them lying to me, they tell me they have one in Edmonton. K great, drive from GP to Edmonton and it doesn't fit my truck. OK fine I just want my money back. You have to go through Range Rider in Summerland BC as that is head office. K I will to no avail. I opened up a BBB case today as they are obviously thieves and don't give a sh!t about their clients, and I am a repeat client. Al and Andrew Klare you do not deserve to own a business.

Purchased a Canopy from them this year. Picked it up and had them install it at the factory. Took it home and one of the locks on the keyed handles is different and cannot be locked. Paint around the window gaskets immediately began to peal away and to top it off the paint colour is off and not an exact match for the colour of my truck. I have been trying to get warranty on the issues for 8 months. This companies customer service and product quality is unbelievably terrible and I would not recommend anyone purchase there products.

BEWARE OF THIS COMANY WE BOUGHT A CANOPY through canopy west out of Edmonton back in April now we're not getting a canopy of our money refunded Edmonton is trying to help but not the Head Office now we're out the 2200$ we paid down plus this agian will we'll have to take legal action..

A complaint against canopy west/range rider has been filed with the BBBBack in 2022 I purchased a Canopy from Canopy West in Grande Prairie for a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado. When the Grande Prairie Location installed the canopy they damaged my truck. The damage was noticed when Canopy West in Edmonton removed the canopy to be repainted. The Canopy required to be repainted because the paint was rolling in various sections around the windows. The Canopy was repainted in August 2022 after being installed in April 2022. In October 2023 the paint started to roll again and I began conversation with Canopy West in Edmonton. I was informed they are going to remake the canopy and will swap it out when it arrives. I was informed on numerous occasions that the Canopy will be sent and they are expecting it to being sent. I find out it is sitting in British Columbia and the main office is not shipping it for some reason. I was also informed that when the swap would happen the damage to my vehicle would be fixed. Since it has been a lot of waiting sitting in Canopy West in edmonton driving back and forth from the territories to deal with this Darren in Edmonton states they have another canopy they would swap it out for. Darren informs me on Aug 1 that he was told he is not allowed to do it and I must wait for the warranty one to come in. I was informed that is an unknown date still. This has been going on for over a year and there appears to be no resolution. I have given other work to Canopy West in Edmonton but I am not sure why the warranty replacement with a tracked rail system is not being sent if the new canopy has Been completed. I had contacted the head office in British a Columbia and no one returned my call. I was able to get a hold of the Sales Manager a Carlos who informs me there are no Chevrolet colorodo canopies sitting in BC but he would like to make this work. I explained the situation to Carlos. Carlos told me to talk to Darren to work out a resolution where Darren informed he was told the head office would be in touch with him. I have heard Darren is leaving his position and when I checked with Darren on Aug 15 2023 he informed me the head office is discussing the matter. There is still no update. It should not take over a year to deal wrong a manufacturing defect and damage done to my vehicle. I hope this matter gets resolved soon. Darren is a top notch guy and doing his best but there is only so much he can do. I hope the corporate office honors their warranty and we can get the canopy replaced.

Ordered a canopy in January. Paid 5000.00 up front. No update on when I get my range rider canopy. It is now August. And get the same old cheque should have been sent for refund. Or next Thursday I have a truck coming. Got the owners cell number and was told that he may or may not answer from the “‘manager”. Pretty blown away how business can be conducted like this. Not a happy customer.

Buyer beware. Put a deposit down on a canopy from a local seller in Edmonton, canopy was in stock but needed a new side window.Apparently deposit goes to Range Rider, so after waiting months for a new window and getting the runaround on delivery of the new window, I asked for a refund to pursue a different brand with better support and availability. Local dealer Unable to offer a refund directly as deposit goes to Range rider.Called the local dealer every week for 3 months. But, every week was the same excuse, cheque will be in the mail next week, or coming on the next truck. Called Range Rider and left messages, won’t return calls and no refund, it’s been 7 months total now and still nothing.

Purchased a canopy from this company, not impressed at all.Despite being professionally installed shell began to warp and crack immediately. Additional clamps were needed to keep it from distorting. It got so bad the latches would not catch.Additionally the latches/handles are of very low quality and fail to function after one season. Paint chips very easily and customer service is non-existent.Please do better!!

I ordered parts for my canopy almost 5 weeks ago. They wanted to be paid up front and I trusted them. I was told that the parts would be shipped the next week and if that wasn't possible they would be shipped within 2 weeks. 5 weeks later and now they aren't returning my calls. Still no parts, no shipment date and now no return calls despite their promises to follow up.

Ordered hi rise new design. Paint wasn't great and the design is flawed. There needs to be less of a ledge. It's a ledge then it's a flat roof. This is great for rocks n chipsStick with the wedge design, more aerodynamic and better looking. The gap is better now on the ram 3500 crew but poor design. Flat roof this high is impossible to clean and gets alot of standing water.Still waiting on rubber protectors for handlesFor this price I would expect better paint job and better design.

Another company that does not stand behind its product but is more then glad to take $5000 from your pocket. You will notice a pattern in the reviews for parts and a response from the company. There are better and ford needs to move away from this company.

After doing the research; deciding what options that I wanted and investigating other dealerships I called "Teddy Bear" Brad and requested he provide a price for a canopy that met my needs. Brad provided me with the "best price" by far on their top of the line cruiser series. Having done my homework; I can without hesitation give Brad and this Supplier a 5-star rating.
Thank you very much Brad and Range Rider for providing me the PERFECT canopy for my truck.

Another company that does not stand behind its product but is more then glad to take $5000 from your pocket. You will notice a pattern in the reviews for parts and a response from the company. There are better and ford needs to move away from this company.

I have the APEX model and have tried contacting them TWICE in a month and no response. I need a part for my rear door/window as the current one is broken and causes rain ingress. Not good. No response whatsoever as to where to purchase parts. Calling Brad in sales and no response. Andrew, I tried calling you on ext. 116 but your mailbox is full
