Beautiful place to stop by and picnic, take a walk, toss a frisbee and enjoy the many Okanogan flowers and plants. There are some very scenic views along the boundary walks viewing one of the kettle valley bridges over a deep canyon. Through the gardens the majority of plants are very well labeled and in late June most of the plants were flowering!

This is a neat place to head for a relaxing time. I doubt most people that grew up in the Okanagan have ever heard of it or been here. The gardens are well kept. Kids will enjoy this in the summer because the steam train usually stops on the trestle and blows its whistle. There's a ton of shade and a few picnic tables to enjoy a picnic.

Very beautiful and quiet gardens! Live locally and this is was a first of more visits. The maps are a bit hard to understand but you can find beauty just walking. It is not stroller friendly as there are many hills and stairs if you want to see all there is. Will wait for a walking baby to explore more!

Heard about the annual springplant sale from a neighbour and was blown away by this historical, verdant gem. The ground are a labour of love tended by volunteers. Much in bloom in early May and much more to come as the growing season progresses. Family-friendly and wheel-chair accessible.
