Amazing company- from the very first phone calls and emails to ask for more information, to the follow ups after installation, they are a joy to work with.Never felt in the dark about anything, they helped ensure we received grants, and even helped with advice on some of our other electrical work which was very helpful.They have a passion for what they do, and it shows in their meticulous work.

Swiss Solar just finished my 20 panel (11Kwh) installation in Summerland. The install went perfectly, the quality of work was exceptional and the final invoice was exactly as we had agreed (no unexpected fee’s). In our home electric energy provides all heating and cooling. Concerned about global climate change we wanted to convert to residential renewable energy. Swiss Solar Tech designed a 38 panel photovoltaic system that provides solar electrical power to meet all our annual home consumption needs, plus, an electric vehicle to come.The expert Swiss Solar Tech installation team was prompt, courteous, and precise.Now on “net metering”, on sunny days excess solar power generation is fed back into the utility’s electrical grid to create credit for when solar power generation is low. Thus, the cost and maintenance of battery storage is unnecessary. The electrical grid is our “battery”. We anticipate “free electricity” for decades into the future.We consider cost of our solar system to be economical. The residue costs not covered by the $5,000 Canada Greener Homes grant are our "pandemic consolation". That is, those costs are close to what we would have spent on adventure travel had it not been for Covid-19 pandemic prohibitions.Furthermore, the solar panels on our roof are entertainment. Our system installed by Swiss Solar Tech monitors in real-time the moment-by-moment performance of each of the 38 individual panels.
