Traveled here from Gold river and was really disappointed. Had lunch at the Marina Grillhouse which was disgusting. The food was flavorless and lack Lustre. Also had 2 dogs running around in the seated area who happened to leave 2 large piles of poo right by our table while we were eating. The food was already bad and that on top of it made me sick. The poo was scooped up and thrown into the Water. I don't recommend.

I have never, ever, had worst meal in my life. The tiny burger was absolutely tasteless and dry. We paid for extra bacon but you really had to look for it. The few green scraps looked like somebody’s leftover salad that they called Caesar. Will not recommend to eat there.
This is the first time l wrote a review however l feel necessary to warn others since there is not too many choices to dine in Tahsis so the marina owners are taking advantage of the situation.

We arrived today with 3 other sailboats while sailing all the way around Vancouver island. Westview marina is a treasure trove for yachties. Every staff member has been exceptionally accommodating and hospitable. Our flotilla enjoyed hot showers ($3°°), laundry ($2°°/load), excellent food in the restaurant, and outstanding service.
Unfortunately, two unsettling issues include the marina's power system's inability to handle the load of a full marina full of boats made supporting our 4 vessels along with an additional sailboat and the fishing boats was difficult. The other drawback is the laundry facilities aren't equipped to accommodate the housekeeping laundry and the boaters laundry. The ill equipped laundry and improper power supply on the dock are serious issues that should be upgraded.
Although we didn't use the rooms I'm assuming there are adequate.
Food and drinks: excellent food in the restaurant, and outstanding service

Awesome place to pull in. Great little bar and grill, fishing charters, fuel, electrical and water and only a 30 walk to town. Call the grocery store or hardware store first to make sure it’s open if that’s your plan though.

Westview Marina is beautiful, quiet location for guided fishing enthusiasts and vacationing. They have friendly, knowledgeable staff, lodging, a restaurant and cafe bar.
Add edit: they also have boat mechanics and a fuel dock. I have witnessed after-hours fuel service but I cannot say whether the after hours service is normal business for them.
I’ve witnessed groups of boat travellers leaving by boat to an unknown destination with huge back packs.

Called to inquire about kayak rentals and the man's customer service was atrocious... he was very impolite and simply hung up the phone before the conversation was over... I'll go out of my way to rent kayaks elsewhere due to the very poor and dissapointing customer service.

We love the location and the staff that served us for our first visit were really great. The prices are outrageous I paid 135 for 4 people to eat that's totally unheard of. Needless to say this will be my one and only visit.

Made a quick stop for a bite to eat after a day of adventuring through the area. You can't beat the view and location of this place! Service at the restaurant was very slow and painful. Food was okay. Served fresh, fish was undercooked and unfortunately upset our stomachs after. Perhaps it was just an off day! ☺️

Rooms were minimalist at best. Smart TV with no cable or antenna or internet. But there was a strong wifi signal from the basement. Shower did not have handles, so l could not even shower. However it was clean.

We just ate dinner here. The manager took our order but when he realized we were waiting and waiting for our meals, he said the order hadn’t been keyed in and asked what we had requested. My halibut was supposed to have panko and lemon zest but there was only a wedge of lemon. Both our meals were to come with potato and salad but they ran out of potato and rice so gave us more salad. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time. We were given a free bowl of soup to share while waiting for our order and a small discount for the halibut not being prepared as it was on the menu. The food tasted ok but the prices were high for what we got and the service was lacking.
