“The atmosphere at the MAQ is so unique and vibey. What other hotel offers live music, an outdoor beer garden, on site restaurant, oyster bar, and downstairs club/liquor store?! The rooms are super cute and quaint with everything you could need. The MAQ has the vibe of a hostel but the esthetics of a fancy hotel. We highly recommend staying here or at the very least coming for a patio cocktail when you are in Tofino. My husband and I got married in Tofino on September 4/22 and our wedding guests were hosted by the MAQ. We were blown away by how welcoming and accommodating every single staff member was! We personally stayed there for two nights, and most of our guests stayed for three. We held a private pre-wedding meet and greet in the bear café/biergarten. Our guests made sure to tell us that the location, food and beverages, and service was some of the best they’ve ever had. To all the staff at the MAQ, thank you for all your help to ensure our wedding was perfect and our guests were well looked after! You went above and beyond to help us with all our little requests. This included placing gifts in every room, delivering supplies to other hotels our guests were staying at, loaning corkscrews, and printing off our vows when we had forgotten to! Thanks again from the bottom of our hearts. We will for sure see you again and will forever recommend the MAQ.”
