“Tofino Post Master, Alex, is exactly the kind of postal service person one hopes for when one is confronted with complex issues. I had two complicated matters. I arrived @ the post office first thing, so as to get there early before it got busy & was lucky to find Alex the person on duty. He was efficient, meticulous & resolved both my matters with grace. Alex is a great asset to the Canada Postal Services, as he is to customers who encounter him, especially those who are dealing with complicated issues. Ocean villages like Tofino & Ucluelet are heavily reliant on the postal service, given so much more of everyday supplies are posted to people living in outlying areas. Alex, who heads the team in Tofino, also spends time helping out when there are staff shortages in Ucluelet. Both post offices are fortunate to have someone of this calibre in them.
