I don't understand alot of these negative reviews. My girlfriend is in surgery so I had to kill time. The owners were very cool and opened right at 10am on a Saturday.Really cool stuff in this place for a musician looking for all the basics on a budget.I had to restrain myself from the many vintage super strats they have.Alot of amps and pedals, really cool thunderbird esp bass.Bought some strings because I hate browsing and not contributing.May come back and snag that samak super Strat!!Don't see alot of places like these anymore. Which is shame because I prefer them over big box. the store screams mojo!

Because you asked so nicely: I visited AAA recently and had a less than satisfactory experience. The staff demonstrated poor knowledge about the products, which was quite frustrating. Additionally, I found them to be pushy in their sales approach, which made the experience uncomfortable. Furthermore, there were instances where information about products provided by the staff turned out to be incorrect. The overall cleanliness of the shop left much to be desired. I hope the staff can improve their knowledge and customer service for a more positive experience in the future. In addition, it's important to note that the instruments available at this pawn shop are often not set up properly, and a significant portion of them are in non-playable condition. This aspect of the shop may be disappointing for consumers seeking functional instruments. I recommend potential customers to be aware of these issues.

Real real low ballers… Be aware. Stand on your price and be willing to walk away because it gets bad ??

I have gone in here a number of times with items, including an iPad and a gold ring with diamonds. They always severely lowball and refuse to budge on any price. When I have pawned the iPad, which was brand new, at other shops, I have received $150. Their offer that they refused to negotiate was $40. I then brought in a gold ring with diamonds and they told me the diamonds were fake and offered me $50. I tried to negotiate but they once again refused so I left and took it to another pawn shop that specializes in jewellery. I specifically asked the staff at this other store if the diamonds were real and they confirmed that they were. I knew this ahead of time and only asked for 100% confirmation on the same day to validate my feelings that I had been blatantly lied to at AAA. I was offered $180 as a pawn loan, not a sale, without even having to negotiate. It really seems like the staff at AAA just want to get their hands on your items at the lowest possible price without any care of fairness or honesty as to what they’re actually worth. They seem to hope that you either don’t know the value of your items or that you’re so desperate you’ll take any deal you’re offered, which is just despicable. I should also note that I am visually impaired (I walk with a white cane so it’s quite obvious) and it’s hard not to feel like that was attempted to be taken advantage of with the ring situation. I will never go back here and suggest you avoid it too.One last little tip for you guys at AAA. I noticed that you have one of two responses to negative reviews. You either offer them a cup of coffee or, more commonly, you get defensive and insult people for their legitimate feedback. As a small business owner, I know that any review, negative or positive should be taken with respect and as a learning opportunity. I don’t want your coffee and Am very interested to see how defensive my review makes you, or if you choose to insult me like you have many of your other reviewers.

Horrible people work at this pawn shop. Very rude, and will always low ball you so hard. One of the clowns offered me 10 bucks for a Samsung S20 phone in perfect condition.

I've been using AAA for at LEAST 10 yrs if not 15. I've purchased many musical instruments and sound equipment from them for my kids, purchased sunglasses, watches etc.. from them and have traded/sold a few things to them as well. These guys are honest, easy to deal with and have been around a long time. As far as pawnbrokers go, they simply don't get much better in the city of Vancouver. In fact, I don't know anyone better at all.

When I first started writing this review, I realized it was becoming paragraphs long. This place is a true gem. And a must see for any instrumentalist and any photographer and an amazing selection of power tools they also do bullion and buy sell jewelryml. My experience with them was excellent. Very friendly. I was greeted and offered a coffee right away as I browsed and they didn't follow me around to make sure I was like you know stealing or whatever they were available if you needed help. I'm going to tell my parents about this place for sure.

MUST READ !!Beware of buying any Gold items from this store. They are a rip off. I went in and the present price of 22 karat gold per gram when i went in was $63. Mostly jewellery stores will charge you around 30-40% making charges. This will mean you can expect to pay roughly $90 per gram of a 22karat jewelry. This means if a gold jewellery is 22 karat and weighs 50 grams, at most you should be paying - 50 grams X $90 = $4500 plus taxes. These guys are charging $115 per gram of 22 karat gold without taxes. This means you will pay 50 gram X $115= $5750. That is ‘just crazy’ .THIS IS INSANE !!DONT WASTE YOIR TIME, GO TO OTHER JEWELLERY STORES NEARBY (search them on Google)

I brought my IMac in with a good solid box that can carry 10 lbs. Each time my computer was returned there was a problem. My first problem, my box was wrecked upon receiving my computer back. My computer is new and have had no problem with the handle being frail previously. My second time pawning my computer there was water damage upon them returning my computer back to me. They apologized and said that they would give me discount next time I want to pawn something off. I’ve had conversation before my last visit about the care of my property and they said they keep things in a safe cubby. Overall, I do not recommend this place as a pawn shop. I am lucky my expensive computer was layered enough to not receive any damage. My computer was fortunate enough to not be damaged but I was only given a card for a discount next pawn. I had to pay regular charges for my property being returned water damaged. I was not bringing my computer back to them
