“How lucky I am to have discovered this great thrift store!
Great selection of clothes and the lady (who I believe is the owner) actually takes the time of day to interact/converse with you/help you shop. Came here a while ago but I still remember the kindness. Thank you!”
“Very well stocked and organized shop. Friendly and knowledgeable owner who is very helpful. Why buy full priced new retail when you can come here? This store is a must for people looking for crystal glasses, tea cups, vintage ice buckets, and everything else to make your entertaining sparkle. Easy, free parking.”

“This quaint little store is run by a group of enthusiastic and dedicated ladies who just love being there, and swoon over the merchandise. Most of the customers were also ladies who equally enthused over the various dining sets and trinkets in the store; it was a lovely experience to observe the hustle and bustle real-time. A lot of the items are too rich for my blood, but I appreciate them for what they are. That said, they do carry some modestly priced odds and ends—items that were part of a set but have been singled out, and other such sundries. I recall a whole basket of beautiful intricately etched glass punch cups that went for two for $1. I was tempted, but ultimately decided against them—I don’t want to start hoarding, even if the items I’m hoarding are beautiful.
The shop is laid out like a showroom; glass display cases and shelves littered throughout a meandering path of furniture and art pieces—an upgraded browsing experience from typical thrift and vintage stores. I ultimately walked away with a heavy crystal ash tray. I mean, calling it an ash tray would be a vulgar insult. This thing is beautiful; dusting cigarette ashes into it, or mashing a butt into its centre is sacrilege. This crystal “ash tray” was one of those odds and ends I found in a basket of other glass novelties. It didn’t have a price tag, so I asked one of the lovely ladies, and she flipped over a sign on the basket revealing the contents within it would be $2. I was beside myself, I purchased it right away, and another lady came by the check-out counter with some bubble wrap to wrap it up—a charming experience overall. I would come back if I was in the neighbourhood.”
“We recently had the pleasure of meeting with Ali Amini of Golden Rug where we purchased several beautiful Persian carpets for our home in Whistler. To facilitate finding the right carpets for the specific locations in our home, I sent photographs of the spaces and maximum measurements to Ali who was able to go through his inventory and select some carpets that could coordinate with the paint colours of our rooms. When we arrived at Golden Rug at the agreed upon day and time, Ali and his assistant were ready to help us with the selected carpets ready to view and a detailed explanation of the source and quality of the carpets we were looking at. The selection of carpets at Golden Rug is considerable and the quality of carpets available is superb. It has always been a pleasure doing business with Golden Rug. From the expert cleaning services available to the amazing inventory and vast knowledge provided by Ali and his staff, we are thankful that they”

“I recently visited an antique shop in the area, and I was truly impressed with my experience. The lady working there was incredibly warm and welcoming, providing excellent guidance. There were also some great discounts available, and the quality of the items was outstanding and spotless. This made it easy for me to choose a beautiful antique table and chair with complete confidence.”
“I used to go there years ago when they were on Main Street and buy brass casters for furniture and their prices were pretty good and I always found some other treasures that I liked when I was there. The store on Richard’s street is also great, lots to look at.”
“Lillian really came through for us with a request for a very small teak dining table with leaves. And she has her own mover who delivered everything with care. It is absolutely what we had hoped for at a reasonable price.”
“Gorgeous antiques, well organized store, fair prices. Now that Kerrisdale is mostly populated by junk stores selling plastic tchotchkes, Pierre’s remains as one of the last high quality stores in the neighborhood.”
“Love going to Wow Interiors !! Great place and great people … a must stop on 4th Ave.
Richard and Kirsten are just the best.
We have bought some real fun pieces..
Look at my photo attached. This is our floor outside our elevator door, the green velvet bar chairs…. FABULOUS!!!
Today saw some amazing neon signs from the Bay store …. If I had the space they would be hanging up right now.

“So glad I could visit and pick up some cute vintage jars at Bamboo Village. I’m going to miss this place. Thank you so much for the amazing items, beautiful plants, and warm service!”
