Totally terrible experience. I was coming to this bank to open a FHSA to get some tax return for the next year. I told the teller directly that I need to buy GIC for this account. Instead of open my account, he kept selling their mutual funds for me, I said I didn’t want any investment right now, just needed GIC for the FHSA, and he told me everything was done. But the next day I didn’t find any new account showing up in my online banking, so I came to the same branch, this time was another teller, I told her my issue, and she started to talk to the former teller, and all of sudden she thought I was coming here to look for trouble because that former teller said he didn’t know me at all???? I said there may be some misunderstanding, I just wanted to open a FHSA account, and I didn’t want to buy any mutual funds or ETFs, just GIC. And finally they reluctantly helped me set up this pathetic tax deduction account.
No wonder all my québécois friends tell me this bank is terrible. Definitely going to switch to other bank next year.

Terrible service! I forgot my card in the machine about a month ago, due to a death in my family I was unable to get a replacement right away, which I made clear to Kay, the teller that was “helping” me , she questioned why I was able to use my card, I told her I was using Apple Pay to which she looked weary about like I was lying or something. I have all my ID’s that are all up to date and she continued to question me about my purchases and I felt like she thought I was lying. And then I have a government cheque which I was also trying to cash, that was issued yesterday to which she said she needed to verify even tho I had all documentation . I finally just walked out even tho the cheque was good but I’ve dealt with her before and she ALWAYS does this to me as an indigenous person I feel like she is acting in a way that is racial profiling as the first time she had hassled me as well, it was a busy day yet I was the only person she behaved in that manner too. Also how is it that I can cash a government cheque at other branches and have no account with, yet at my own I get hassled. Due better Kay and BMO as she works regular hours, I will definitely not be returning due to always feeling like I am being racially profiled… by the SAME person at this branch. ( and no I never say I feel like I am being racially profiled in every situation) also I went to another branch gave the same up to date ID’s and , received a new bank card with no issues and was able to cash my cheque as well.

As a senior 85 years of age who has a Handi Card with my picture, the teller was extremely rude and would not assist me even though I have an account there, my RRSPs etc. This is very bad customer service and will be moving my accounts elsewhere.

I needed to withdraw cash from the ATM at this location at 8:45pm on the evening of Friday Nov. 3rd, 2023. I was surprised to find the doors locked and their ATM was not accessible. I had previously used this ATM well past 9pm. After returning from my trip, I asked the staff working here what the ATM business hours are, and they told me 10pm. Why don’t you post the hours on the door so customers know the hours? There was no explanation on the door why it was locked early. I was leaving the country on an early morning flight the next day. I had to drive to several other locations to try to find one that was open. This was highly inconvenient and frustrating, especially the evening before my trip.Apparently all the BMO branches have different hours for their ATM. The Commercial Drive location closes at 9pm. At least that location posts their hours. The branches should have consistent hours, which they honour, plus all locations need to post the hours on their door.

The absolute worst bank.Virtually no customer service and they are the rudest people I’ve ever met.I’ve changed banks and I’ve never been happier!!!It’s like night and day.Goodbye forever nightmares.

I was at the bank 2:45 pm and there was a long line up but only one clerk serving the customers. They have another clerk working on her own and numerous stalls in their own offices but on one is serving us.It is more like 30 minutes just waiting and waiting

Have been with BMO and this branch for the last 4 years. If I could, I'd rate them 0 stars. I have a 3 separate businesses accounts and I’ll be taking all my business to a different bank. Reasons? Where to start…1) I have a credit card and a line of credit for one of my business. Apparently, in the 21st century, this bank cannot link both cards to my account. Therefore, I am unable to use online banking and have to go to the bank every time to withdraw money from my line of credit.2) When I have to go to the bank (almost every week), I have to spend a minimum of 20-30 minutes waiting for a teller. There’s ALWAYS only one, max two tellers working. Today, they left 6 people standing by the door for more than 30 minutes until we started complaining to the BM. He could see us standing there the whole time and DID NOTHING UNTIL WE STARTED COMPLAINING!!!3) All the tellers are ridiculously slow. Basic tasks take ages to complete. I ask them to deposit money to my business account (and I use the company card to verify my business), and they often deposit the money to a different account that's linked to my name. YAY!4) The bank always keeps fund on hold even when I bring cheques to the teller. It is ridiculous that they keep funds on hold for businesses that need cash flow, especially if the teller is the one depositing the money and therefore is everything verified!!! WHY?!?!?!5) I’ve been asking to get a person assigned to my account for months, with no answer from the branch.I could go on and on...DO NOT use BMO for business - THE WORST BANK I DEALT WITH!!! Avoid this branch unless necessary!!!

Filipino cashier treated me as if i had a disease. She wouldn't take my money out of my envelope and made me do it count it and then made me put my receipt in my book. Don't understand why she can't do her job as she made me do her job. She treats people of colour poor and she needs to remember she makes minimum wage humble yourself.

So slow. Two tellers. One didn't even acknowledge me while she walked off for her break. The other one was sitting in the corner wicket to the left working on something no acknowledgement again. The one teller that was working was with the same client for over 10mins. Needs more tellers. As well as at least acknowledge the clients who are waiting in linePoor customer service and experience
