If I could give zero stars I would. I have dealt with them, off and on, for 3 years. I was diagnosed with Cancer in June, had surgery in September and had to take a few months off work. I still paid off my loan, even though I was on disability.I started back to work full time and needed to pay off a bill and they say, even after using them for 3+ years and always paying it off, that I do not qualify. It's a joke of a lender anyways.

Horrible company to deal with. Worst customer service imaginable. Collections department is complete garbage.Lost employment and would not work out a reasonable plan with me. No soul. Do not use their services.Tell them I won't have funds and when I will and they don't care. Don't bother they will suck you dry financially through their fees.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They verified EVERYTHING accept they couldn't get my contact on the phone - she is sick and doesn't want to deal with a "yep I know her" I said if everything hinges on speaking with a contact after they confirmed everything else then we may need to cancel and I got back nothing but your cancellation request has been confirmed. They care about nothing but money. Joke of a company, just wanted a little extra Christmas help I can only IMAGINE those that need helps struggle - AVOID AVOID AVOID

Biggest joke ever. Did the song and dance for many days, finally got the letter of employment they asked for and they STILL needed to call. First loan agency I've attempted to loan from that is this insistent about talking to your employer over the phone despite them not realizing that it might be your employer's policy to never share that you're employed with them unless under court order or subpoena. If you want to wait days without a decision and while they harass your employer and god knows who else you gave them references for, then by all means use CaptainCash. There's at least 10 other loan brokers that offer identical services but actually approve you within the same day and CAN help you out of a quick jam. CaptainCash? More like CaptainTrash.

Absolute horrible company. Interests rates are 50% and claimed as administrative fees. The customer service is absolutely rude (especially Mike). I Been charged multiple times with surprise payments after contract was completed. Have requested for multiple times to have payments dates given to me but have not replied so I don’t know when it will go through, then be charged NSF fees. I highly don’t recommend to use this financial institution ever. Pure scam. Absolutely never againUpdate: Feb 9 2023They are still charging my account. I found out that I have a supposed $26.00 left to pay with a “penalty charge” of $310.00. I sent a e-transfer and they tried to charge again for the same amount on my bank account. They are probably going to try and charge me another “penalty” charge of 45.00 when I already sent them the payment.

Terrible loan company. 1) online application was frustrating to upload documents and wouldn't allow pdf? Had to end up taking screen shots. 2) took forever to get a response. Applied last Friday and Tuesday morning finally got response. 3) was refused a loan due to being to close to my limit. No kidding, that's why I'm requesting a loan in the first place. Recommend 310 loan, or even money Mart at this point compared to this captain cash

I was denied as I do not have 3 months of payroll deposits from my employer because I have recently returned back to work 5 weeks ago from maternity leave. I do however have one paycheque from my employer appearing in my bank statements that they can see as well as continuous payments from EI Maternity Leave before that. There was no break in payroll deposits, I have been paid biweekly for the last 8 years and I have a bunch of pre authorized payments coming out of my account to which none have ever been returned.I happily provided them with my current letter of employment showing my wage, my hours and my position start date to which it shows I have been employed by the government of Alberta for 8 years. They still declined my application only because in the last 3 months my payroll deposits are not from the same company despite always having a payroll deposit. I would also like to note that they were incredibly rude and implying that I was worthless in their replies to me as well. They discriminate against working mothers and refuse to see maternity leave as a source of income. Just because I had a baby and took some time off (with pay) and since returned to work I should not be denied. I worked hard to earn the right to take this time off to be with my baby while still being paid and I am back at work now and provided more proof than even necessary to prove my employment. I am more than qualified to take out a payday loan and I have always been responsible with my bills yet was still denied.I have since applied at iCASH and was approved instantly as I am clearly qualified for a loan. I will not be giving this company who discriminates against women and mothers my business in the future and I urge everyone to stay away as well.
