“Super handy little import market with really friendly staff. They have a little bit of everything, tons of simple house wares, craft/school supplies, simple DIY stuff, bike parts, cleaning products, clothes, kitchen stuff, toys etc. I live nearby and always go here first since most of the time they have what I need for a great price. Nothing super fancy, but great for little essentials. They're really honest too, I forgot some little 2$ item at checkout and they saved it for me for the next time I went in.”

No matter how busy (and it can be!), the staff still take time to be courteous & assist you. Kudos!! My elderly mother loves this location... helps too that there's a cold beer & wine next door as well. Great lil plaza.”

“I watch a Youtube personality (Hi, Joce!) and she is constantly going to Dollarama so of course, I had to go into one while in Vancouver! The hubs, my sister, and I were so impressed by what Dollarama offers! We bought the famous Maple creme cookies, some candies made in Canada, and the Hubs found a fishing hook holder for your rod! I am hoping Dollarama expands globally, but I'll take it if they build one in Denver!”

“There seem to be a lot of weird and racially motivated negative comments about this dollar store. What a cryin' shame especially when this is one of the coolest independently owned dollar stores left in a city that is overrun with Dollaramas. If you grew up in the 90's like I did, you'll remember the family-owned dollar stores of yore with shelves bursting with diaries with dolphins on the cover and perfumed pages, weird knock off barbie dolls, and walls and walls of stickers. If that is the vibe you deeply miss like I do, you will love Superior. I have never been met with anything but friendly and helpful employees and it's easily the most reasonably priced in the city. I love this place :)”

“Dollarama is a handy place to stop for quick and inexpensive purchases. It is especially useful for picking up small household items, stationery, and snacks without spending much. The variety is decent for a discount store, and you can often find surprisingly useful items. That said, the quality is not always consistent, so it is better suited for simple or temporary use. The layout can feel a bit tight depending on the location, and it may take some time to look through the shelves, but the convenience makes up for it.”

“This store differentiates themselves by carrying stuff nobody else sells. There seems to be sweet spot with shopping here and what I do is I will check out Dollartree and Dollarama first (in that order), and if I can't find it I will check here and 9/10 times they have it and it's both amazing in quality and cheaper than Temu, Amazon, or Aliexpress. I think their specialty is quality and good value kitchen products ie, cookware, utensils, even appliance replacement parts. If you take time to browse you might come across stuff you needed but would never have guessed people even carried chances are they do have it and it's better price than anywhere else. I've had a whole bunch of experiences like that but I overwhelmingly shop kitchen stuff and don't check out all the rest of household, stationary, whatever. I think, based on my own experiences, 4 stars would be stingy, 5 stars is fair, and I haven't had chance to look at everything I only go in to look for something specific then I might look around a bit while locating the items and the variety quality and price does surprise me.”

“One of the larger Dollaramas in the city where you can find most of the goods they offer. This is the perfect place to go if you're new in Vancouver and need to equip your room or apartment with basic stuff (kitchenery, cables, containers, towels, tools, etc.) for very cheap. Most of the goods cost more than a dollar, but even then, some of their pricing beats even Aliexpress or other Chinese stores, which is almost unbelievable. And most prices are multiples cheaper than Walmart and similar. And for that reason, the store is always packed with people, so if you don't like waiting, try to order the stuff you need through Uber Eats or DoorDash, or come outside of the rush hour.”
