“Super handy little import market with really friendly staff. They have a little bit of everything, tons of simple house wares, craft/school supplies, simple DIY stuff, bike parts, cleaning products, clothes, kitchen stuff, toys etc. I live nearby and always go here first since most of the time they have what I need for a great price. Nothing super fancy, but great for little essentials. They're really honest too, I forgot some little 2$ item at checkout and they saved it for me for the next time I went in.”
“Its about the staff & cleanliness at this location - as everyone knows, dollar stores can be crazy, quite disheveled, & have really rude staff. Never witnessed any of that at this Dollarama! No matter how busy (and it can be!), the staff still take time to be courteous & assist you. Kudos!! My elderly mother loves this location... helps too that there's a cold beer & wine next door as well. Great lil plaza.”
“Great store! A lot of choice for helium balloons. Also a lot of pretty stationary with very good price, and you can find basically everything in it, would definitely go again. The owners are super nice and very helpful. Definitely recommend”
“We got our balloons filled with helium for our friends birthday last week. Although our buddy wasn’t happy about turning 30, he sure was happy with the balloons! The man that helped us was very friendly”
“Delightful community shop worth supporting! Went in person to get costumes in February for the Rugby Sevens event. The store owners and workers were all very friendly.”
“One of the best places to buy peacock feathers! (Both the Yukon and West Broadway stores have them.) Fantastic super-bright card stock paper too, and all sorts of surprisingly good-quality kitchenware. Really good place!”
“For a last minute event you can get some neat items here. Their greeting cards have a great selection. Great decorations for your back yard/patio. Picked up some birthday favours as well.”
“Great treasure trove of all season items at super affordable prices! Also wonderful staff at this store, especially “Shayan” who always goes out of his way to be helpful and kind : )”

“my fav local store for small summer stuff! was looking to repair my flat tire, couldnt find the patch anywhere until I checked with Amy; and as usual he got it all! including beach volleyball and other seasonal items for the beach!”
“There seem to be a lot of weird and racially motivated negative comments about this dollar store. What a cryin' shame especially when this is one of the coolest independently owned dollar stores left in a city that is overrun with Dollaramas. If you grew up in the 90's like I did, you'll remember the family-owned dollar stores of yore with shelves bursting with diaries with dolphins on the cover and perfumed pages, weird knock off barbie dolls, and walls and walls of stickers. If that is the vibe you deeply miss like I do, you will love Superior. I have never been met with anything but friendly and helpful employees and it's easily the most reasonably priced in the city. I love this place :)”
“Love this Dollar Store their beauty section is unbelievable and their staff is knowledgeable and friendly I hope they tighten up their security or may become a statistic of the area”
“This is the kind of place in which you go for one thing and end up with 10 more, there are a lot of things that you'll want or need there. Its cheap but the quality is not as good. If you're looking for something lasting I don't really recomend this place with some exceptions of course but generally no...”
“Dollar Mama is super convenient, right in the heart of downtown Vancouver. They have a wide variety of items, everything from snacks to household goods. The store was clean, well-stocked, and organized. There’s also security at the entrance, which makes it feel safe. A great spot if you need to grab something quick and affordable!”
“Dollarama is a handy place to stop for quick and inexpensive purchases. It is especially useful for picking up small household items, stationery, and snacks without spending much.
The variety is decent for a discount store, and you can often find surprisingly useful items. That said, the quality is not always consistent, so it is better suited for simple or temporary use.
The layout can feel a bit tight depending on the location, and it may take some time to look through the shelves, but the convenience makes up for it.”
“The place is very assorted and everything is organized!, the mr that is always cashing is very polite and friendly, this time i bought some christmas papper and bags, but this place is really a treasure when you want to find or do something and not wasting to much money!”
“Good store with a good selection of household items and tools. 9/10 times if I need something for my apartment, they have it. Decent prices, and staff is helpful.”
“One of the larger Dollaramas in the city where you can find most of the goods they offer. This is the perfect place to go if you're new in Vancouver and need to equip your room or apartment with basic stuff (kitchenery, cables, containers, towels, tools, etc.) for very cheap.
Most of the goods cost more than a dollar, but even then, some of their pricing beats even Aliexpress or other Chinese stores, which is almost unbelievable. And most prices are multiples cheaper than Walmart and similar.
And for that reason, the store is always packed with people, so if you don't like waiting, try to order the stuff you need through Uber Eats or DoorDash, or come outside of the rush hour.”
“I go there alot and the owners know me very well I love going there al kinds Kool stuff I go there and purchase sweat pants for my wife and ods and ends owners I get along with them there awesome thank you for helping me pick out clothes for my wife who's handicapp thank you”
“this shop has some really cool greeting cards for birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. The designs are great and there's a lot of variety. The only downside is that they only have $2 and $3 cards. It would be better if they had $1 cards too!”
“I really enjoyed my shopping experience at Dollarama. The store was clean, well-organized, and had a great selection of affordable products. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made checkout quick and easy. I truly appreciate their great service and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!”
“It's in a rough area of Vancouver, and but the store is generally clean and tidy. It has narrow aisles, but carries most thing for one dollar and above. If you decide to park in the parkade in the back, it is expensive at almost $6 per hour. I would recommend street parking if available.”
“Love this locations, so many selections of items for mostly $2.00.All items ( especially the items i paid for ) Aereo chocolate brownie bar, OLD Dutch chips ( 3 flavours, salt, vinegar, ketchup, ruffles ), Lighter. All $2.00 items.”
“love this sweet lil shop! they’ve got a wide variety of things everyday for good prices and a great little plant and flower selection. the owners and staff are wonderful, and it’s always a delight to see pearl the cat when she’s around.”
