Here’s a good one for you.The woman scans the items. I notice one of the cups is damaged so I leave it aside and say I don’t want it.She goes to tell me that I cannot do that. I said well I just did and I don’t want it…Why can’t I do that I haven’t paid for it yet. She said it’s the store policy. I smirked and walked out. Left the rest of her stuff that she rang through to figure out. I really don’t know how this makes sense. Because it doesn’t.Sorry for being honest.

As much convenient it is to shop at the dollar tree, the cashier was a middle aged woman and was rude when asked about my query and no proper confirmation was given..

They have nothing compared to Dollarama. I think they only restock once a day and that's why shelves are empty.

THIS IS A DOLLAR STORE!PARKING - is not great, meter parking out front. 30 min = $1 LOCATION - close to transit & skytrain. Neighbourhood can be somewhat sketchy so be alert.CASHIERS - deal with alot and dont get paid for so they probably arrive at work on their last nerve.PRICES - 90% of items are $1.25I wasnt really looking at the prices until i got to the cash register. Everything was $1.25. First time ever experience for me. That alone had me giving 5 stars Its not a huge store but they have a variety that most stores carry but they also carry items like nail tips & nail dremels. THIS IS A MUST IF YOU FREQUENT THE DOLLAR STORES in the lowermainland. I didnt see anything over $1.25. Happy Shopping! Just be careful lol

I was at the till on Wednesday May 10 at noon asking a question. The CSR tried to answer my question but was interrupted by another CSR who told her that she doesn't have to answer my question because customers are stupid and not worth it. I did not complain there because the 1st person was nice. If they play the cameras they will know who that 2nd person was.

The store shelves are always empty. The customer service is awefulWas in there the other day, got to the till and as I was putting my items out, noticed a package of Bisquick had a hole it it. ( Like a mouse got into it.),. Gave it to the lady who then told me that I should look at the package better.

Personally I love dollar tree because things still are only 1.50 at most and they have a lot of options for snacks, crafting supplies, school supplies, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, gift wrap, candles, and kitchen/household items. If you have your receipt and the item is unopened I think you can even do exchanges if you buy the wrong thing.

One star is too much. Today I bought some cleaning spray, I went to another store and discovered that the whole bottle leaked into my backpac, ruining my expensive headphones. I went back to return the item and was told I was scamming them and that they "don't have time for junkies" he then replaced the cleaner and told me not to come back. There was no reason for him to speak to me this way and I did nothing to get banned in the first place. The owner is an extremely cheap ignorant, rude person. All he cared about was the $2.

Sketchiest Dollar Store in Van. Not a lot of selection compared to lots of others, but convenient location. I have a feeling they are just sitting on the real estate and running at a loss.

The older lady cashier is so strange. Twice now i had a problem the first time she told me to wait she needed help/backup then she rang my items through. The second time she told me to go to another cashier all together entirely even though no one was in line! Once is ok perhaps but twice theres something wrong Great store though and great products!

Awful customer service. Went to go in line, as the register open light was on,and woman slammed the closed sign down not even giving me a smile, making eye contact or saying anything. As I walked over to the next register, first women announced she was going on break, so I said "that's probably good idea for you to go on break because that was incredibly rude what you did" she then promptly stomped off and slammed break room door. The other women was very kind and when I explained the situation was very apologetic and understanding. I've worked retail before and I understand it can be frustrating when a customer comes into your line up when it's your break time, but come on.
