I was at the store on Saturday July 5. The store was supposed to open at 10:00 but no one was there when I arrived at that time. I waited for 20 minutes and still nobody showed up. I left and returned after 11:00.
Tom was 'managing' the store. I received the same treatment at Pom's mother. He was stuffing his face and reluctant to help.
My phone is a Galaxy Note 9 and I had been informed by the IT manager at my place of work and my nephew who works for Best Buy that the phone can be easily upgraded from 3G to 4G.
Tom was impatient and rude and said that it is not true and they did not know what they were talking about. He kept trying to get me out of store by saying I should just go to Best Buy or Walmart and purchase another phone.
There were no other customers in the store at that time. I was thoroughly disgusted by his rude and unhelpful behavior. I hope that the older couple who went into the store as I was leaving got better 'service'.
I went to the store today and Terry assisted me. It took him less than 10 minutes to upgrade my phone which is really amazing when Tom would not spend that short time to assist a customer. He was more interested in the food he was eating.
Terry served me a few months ago. I found him to be knowledgeable, patient and informative, a definite asset to your shop.
If Tom does not change his attitude, he will give your shop a bad reputation.

Scam/Fraud Alert! Transferred 3 phone lines with Store Manager Tom Wong back in May with the promise of getting the $60 activation fee ($180 total) back on a bill credit.
Been continuously following up with Tom to get the bill credit back, but Tom follows up with more false promises that he has already followed up the the carrier and we should expect to see the credit on our next bill, or in our account after 20 business days.
After 5 months of waiting, now Tom tells us we need to contact the carrier by ourselves to ask for the credit back. We called the carrier, and guess what! Nothing has been done and there has been no changes or tickets or requests has submitted by Tom, and this is the first time anyone has contacted the carrier about our situation. The customer service from the carrier told us that the store should be contacting them and not the customer.
We called Tom again to pass on the request from the carrier, but he refuses to accept any responsibility and ask us to call multiple times as different customer service representative may be willing to issue the bill credit. He blamed us for having bad luck for not being able to have a customer service representative that is willing to help.
We have contacted Pepper Wireless head office to file a complaint. Now we see what will be the result…
